20|We need to find them

Williams POV 

I open my eyes to see that I'm on the ground I look up to see Ray over lifting me up, I look around to see other crying or unconscious. 

"Where's Amber?" I ask Ray looking around and I can't find her, her scent is distant and I can't reach her wolf.

"She was taken, along with many more by hunters" I growl, how could I have lost her, I'm supposed to keep her safe and I couldn't do that. I try to mind-link her again but it falls through telling me she is too far away. 

"Call a meeting with the pack Alpha's and tell them it's an emergency" Ray nods and walk away, I call attention to my people around me. 

"I know you're all very confused and wondering what happened to our loved ones but be patient I will get to the bottom of this" they nod, I remember Amber's reasoning for all of this, hybrids. "If you have any family members were captured please g over to the pack house to answer some questions, and don't worry whatever we talk about will stay between you, Ray, and me" People start to walk over while the majority go back to their houses since not many were captured but it was a valuable amount. 

"The Alphas will be here in 10" Ray says. 

"Okay, tell somebody to get the conference room ready" he nods and walks away once again. 

"Where are you, my love?" I say out loud.

"We need to find them!" my wolf barks.

"I know!" I yell back

In the distance I can see a few Alphas arriving already, I walk over to the pack house. Many of us are inside waiting for the rest to get here, I can tell they're worried by my pacing around the room. As soon as the last Alpha walk in I begin. 

"If you haven't already figured it out my pack was attacked and many of my pack members were captured including my mate, Amber"

"What?!" Sebastian says and his eyes widen. I know she didn't want them to know but I need to find her.

"Why were they captured," Sebastian asks, there it is. 

"They were taken by hunters because they are... hybrids" everybody around the room looks at me like I've grown another head. 

"That's ridiculous, hybrids are myths" That's what Amber said.

"Yeah but so are we," I say again. 

"Wait! Amber is a hybrid?!" Sebastian asks barely hitting him and I nod. 

"I need your help to get them back along with ones that had been taken from your own pack" Richard stands up and all eyes turn to him. 

"Why are we going to rescue them, I'm glad they took away those monstrous creatures" some people around the room agree. 

"That's your people you are talking about and my mate so be careful" I see in a composed tone. 

"That's the only reason why you care is because of your Luna who is right where she belongs" My eyes turn golden my wolf surfacing, many people who had stood up with Richard sat back down not wanting to challenge me but of course Richard stays up. 

"You will not  disrespect her like that and I'm going to go after them if anyone wants to join them stay here to make a plan if not and are okay with letting innocent people, your innocent people being killed then by all means just know whoever walks through those doors will no longer be considered allies to my pack" I point at the door, nobody leaves not even Richard he just growls and sits back down, I smile internally but keep my emotionless face.
