I had already arrived at Pops. I sat down in my usual spot and waited for Cheryl. In the meantime, I was mentally preparing myself to get absolutely annihilated by Cheryl.
I was just messing around on my phone when I heard the chime of the door open. I turned around and saw Cheryl walk in.
She walked up to me, about one inch away from me precisely and glared at me dead in the eyes.
"Cheryl, I'm sorry if I hurt you I didn't mean-"
She stopped me right there. She started crying so hard that I didn't know how she was breathing well. I pulled her in for a hug and she buried her face into my arm.
