**At the end of the school day**
Third POV
As Cheryl approached her house, she grew more anxious. She was happy to see her Nana, but scared to see her mother.
She knew Nana had been taking care of Birdy and was excited to see her tiny kitten as well. When she got to the door, she quietly opened it up and quietly closed it.
She tiptoed down the hall to her Nana's room first. She didn't see her Nana in there so she looked around the kitchen.
She then quietly went upstairs into her room and looked around. It was pretty much the same. She kept standing at the door and felt a pair of hands on her waist and pull her back from the door.
It was a man in all white who Cheryl didn't recognize at all. She started screaming as another appeared and covered her mouth. She struggled to get out of their grasp but they had already thrown her into the back of a black car.
And on Cheryl's phone dinged from her bedroom.

And meanwhile, Toni was waiting for Cheryl to send her a text, not knowing that she wouldn't be receiving one for a long time. That Cheryl has been taken away, and that no one needed Betty's warning from a while ago.
