Kevin's POV
Cheryl was struggling to breathe and it hurt me that all I could do was watch her swallow a pill and wait. And that was sadly ironic considering the incident.
I wasn't one for hating anyone during drama, but I hated how Toni looked at Cheryl with no remorse but I didn't want to say anything about it.
"Cheryl-" I couldn't talk. I felt myself about to cry seeing my best friend shattered and she didn't need me crying because that would only make her feel bad. So I had to stay strong for her because I know she'd do the same for me.
She was coughing and her lips were tinted a bit blue and I started getting really worried. "Cher, you need to breathe okay?" I asked putting my arm around her.
Cheryl was hyperventilating and I kissed her head and said "Cheryl you're okay. You're on a bus, and you're not anywhere else. We're all here with you and love you."
After me desperately trying to calm her down, her breathing settled and she was out of breath. She almost passed out, but she rested her head on my chest and closed her eyes.

[Kevin 🍵]: She just had the second biggest panic attack I've ever seen her have. Maybe it was because she realized she took some pills

[Betty 💕]: hmm you're right it won't ;)
[Kevin 🍵]: Maybe we should just try and keep Cheryl happy today. Since it's the first day of the 'three day incident.'
[Veronica 🔥]: Good idea. But I don't know what Toni's problem is. She knows Cheryl's been through a lot so why is this particular thing bothering her?
[Fangs 🐸]: she's on edge
[Betty 💕]: Uh no offense but why're you on this chat
[Fangs 🐸]: i don't have much time bc Toni's a light sleeper
[Fangs 🐸]: but she recently got some medical bills from Riverdale General that she's got to pay off
[Fangs 🐸]: because of something somebody hid from her and it cost her a lot
[Veronica 🔥]: what happened even tho it's probably not as bad as the incident

Outside the bus and in the hotel
Betty's POV
Luckily for Cheryl, I was put in a room together. She was just sitting on her bed with covers wrapped around her shoulders, looking as broken as ever.
And my poor bub is with Toni. I can already see her punching Toni's face once again.
"Cher, do you want some tea?" I asked as I brought a mug over to her. "It's your favorite" I said with a smile.
"Thanks Betty" she said. I guess it's kind of weird that Cheryl and I are 'friends' from school but since we're family I kissed her cheek and said "Of course Cherie. Anything else you want?"
"Toni" she mumbled. I sighed and said "Cheryl, have you considered telling her what happened? Me, Kevin, or Veronica could tell her if you want. I just don't want 2 things you have to stress out about, especially since we're on this trip together."
"I know" she said with her voice breaking. "She's going to think I'm crazy but any other day I could take everyone in the school thinking 'Oh, well that kid almost died and today a year ago' but she's just one person I don't get it" she sobbed.
"You miss her. And you still love her Cheryl. Not telling her something doesn't dismiss the fact that you still love her." I said
Her face and hands were starting to get sweaty and I didn't know if I could handle another panic attack from her. I couldn't decide what to do, and assuming Toni wasn't in her room because of Veronica; I picked up Cheryl and rushed to Veronica's room.
By the time we got there she was hyperventilating once more, and to both of our surprises, Toni was there.
"Veronica, I-I can't breathe" said Cheryl gasping between every word she said.

Veronica's POV
Betty was crying, Cheryl was dying, and Toni's just sitting there on her phone as if nothing was happening.
Cheryl was trembling and shivering, and looked really disoriented. She tried to walk to to the bed but her legs shook as she stood and fell against the wall still hyperventilating.
"V, can't you do something?" cried Betty. I hugged Betty and said "B we have to let it pass."
Cheryl was sobbing so much, Betty and I didn't know what to do and Cheryl's lips were tinted blue because she wasn't getting enough oxygen.
And much to my surprise, Toni got up straddled Cheryl, and kissed her for a long ass time.
