real  life:

A certain brunette was staring dreamily out of the large window that was located on his right side, trying to ignore the itchy fabric of the green apron he was wearing against his neck.

He had been working for three hours straight and he was kind of done with it. He would only have to work for another hour before he could take a break, but didn't stop the lean build guy from looking at the brown watch that was placed on his wrist every few minutes in impatience and annoyance, wanting for time to move faster.

It was quiet for another moment, well beside the white noise that came with being in a coffee shop. His quiet moment was however cut short when a feminine voice spoke up, which made the brunette whip his head around.

"Hey, Elijah." The voice said, and as said brunette turned around he realised the voice belonged to Lee, a pretty blonde that was a couple of years younger than him. They shared the same shift for a couple of months now and got along well.

Said girl made a pointing gesture to her nose as she continued, "Your nose, dude."

The moment she let out that sentence, Elijah felt the lukewarm liquid flowing down his upper lip, followed by a small wave of dizziness. He immediately leaned his head back, while reaching for his nose with his hand. All while letting out a set of colourful words.

"Lee, can you fill in for me for a moment?" He asked the blonde, who looked at him in concern.

She looked at him for a moment with cocked eyebrows, but then nodded quickly, "Sure. Just-, just make sure you don't bleed out alright?"

Elijah chuckled and thanked the way smaller girl before rushing off to the backroom. The brunette was most definitely annoyed with the situation. He rushed for the small toiled in the back of the room and picked up a load of toilet paper.

He then slumped down on one of the three little couches in the room, letting out a sigh as he put the tissues against his nose.

He sat still for a couple of moments, letting the wave of nausea flow through his body. It had kind of gotten a routine at this point and he was used to it. He knew he would be like this for a few minutes before it would stop and he could resume his everyday life.

The dizzy brunette whipped out his phone after a minute, to see a message from Salem that read 'SOS'.

Elijah leaned forward as he opened up the notification, only to discover the message sent after: 'Lol, nevermind. I found it'.

The brunette rolled his eyes in amusement at the antics of his friend.

He scrolled through Instagram for another minute or two before he began to feel better.

He slowly stood up after he checked his nose, to see if it indeed had stopped bleeding and it had.

The brunette tossed the bloody tissues in a bin and walked back to the main room.

The sudden wave of noise that entered his ears the moment he opened the door hit him like a truck and he immediately felt dizzy again for a few seconds. That luckily cleared up pretty quickly as he walked back to the counter, where Lee was having a hard time with keeping up with the growing line of customers.

"Thank god. I thought I was gonna die here." The blonde exclaimed quietly in relieve at the sight of her co-worker.

"Sorry about that." Elijah replied, while smiling apologetically, "I'll take this over for you, if you want."

The younger girl nodded in relieve, "Yes please. I'm not good at taking orders anyways."

The two made a quick switch and the brunette started working on the growing line of impatient customers.

He continued working for another half an hour as it slowly became busier in the shop. It was around lunchtime and since the brunette lived in Manhattan, almost every New Yorker in the area came in to get a cup of coffee for their lunch break.

"Alright. Your name will be called when your coffee is ready." Elijah said politely as he smiled at the older lady in front of him.

The woman returned the smile and walked off to the other side of the counter, where her drink would be prepared.

The brunette turned back to help another customer, only to realise there were none.

He looked around the crowded shop and observed all the different faces quickly. But soon he turned back his gaze to the door as he heard the sound of a small bell, which accompanied the opening and closing of said door.

His hazel eyes grew the size of small planets as he recognised the person that just entered and immediately turned around for a moment to collect himself.

The blonde girl at the other side of the counter looked at his sudden movement and looked at him in confusion, giving him a 'what?' look.

Elijah's mouth was unable to cooperate as he tried to explain the ridiculous situation he found himself in and just looked like a complete idiot.

His moment of frantic gestures was however cut short as he heard a voice speaking up from behind him, "Hello, mate. Can I get a coffee please?"

In a split second, the brunette managed to control himself and turned around calmly, coming eye to eye with a person a pair of brown eyes he knew all too well.

None other than Tom Holland was standing directly in front of him, with a blue baseball cap placed on his head.

Elijah could feel his ears tingling and burning a bright red, but they were luckily covered by his long curls, which he was quite thankful for at the moment.

"Yeah, sure. To go?" He asked as calmly as he could. He didn't really understand why, but he definitely didn't want him to know it was him, not yet anyways.

The smallest hint of confusion was seen on said Brit's face for a moment as he vaguely recognised his voice, but quickly dismissed it as he had more things on his mind.

"Yes, thanks."

Elijah picked up a cup on his right side, before looking up again, "Can I get a name?"

The brunette in front of him looked unprepared for that question for a moment, probably surprised by the fact that he wasn't 'recognised',  but quickly repositioned himself, "Right, of course. It's Tom."

The American had a hard time holding back a smirk at the thought of the situation, but managed to do so as he bit on the inside of his cheek for a moment as he came up with a small plan.

"Alright. Your name will be called when your coffee is ready." The brunette said, giving the actor in front of me a polite smile, which felt incredibly weird to do.

"Cheers mate." Tom replied, as he returned the smile and walked off.

Elijah let out a huge sigh and a chuckle before he wrote down something on his coffee cup.

A few minutes had passed and Elijah couldn't help but occasionally stare at the brunette that was on the other side of the shop, as he kept thinking to himself; 'how did this happen?'.

There was a small part of him that wanted to tell Tom it was him, but decided that it would be way more fun to toy with him for a bit.

Another minute passed and Elijah had helped another customer before Tom's named was called out.

He casually walked up and picked up the coffee. And quietly walked out of the door.

The only thing Elijah could do, was wait and hope that he would read his message on the bottom of the cup.
