real life :
Honestly, Elijah felt great. He felt great and he loved the feeling.
He felt great watching his little sister dance around the stage, making moves the brunette could probably never do, even if he practiced for months.
The young girl looked elegant and graceful as she twirled around the stage, but still with a sense of confidence that made her look to own the very floor she was standing on.
After the show was over, the older Beck sibling couldn't help but beam with pride as Mallory and her fellow ballerinas bowed, while cheering loudly.
Levi, who sat on the brunet's shoulder, was hollering as well, turning his head around while pointing at his older sister, shouting 'that's my sister!' on repeat.
On his right side stood his father and Ava, who too, had proud grins on their faces. It had been a while since the last time they all had been together, with everything that happened in the last few months.
But alas, the Beck family was back together, and it was a wonderful moment.
Around fifteen later, the four were having a drink in the bar, next to the small theatre, waiting for Mallory to make an appearance.
As soon as the stage doors opened, a certain blonde sprinted out with a goofy grin plastered on her face.
Elijah, who already faced the door, shot up only seconds before the young blonde jumped into his arms, "Belly! What did you think of it?!"
The brunet, who was slightly taken aback by the impact of his sister slamming into him, took a second to reply, "You were great! How you did that turning thingy was so good!"
The family continued to talk after, mostly praising Mallory for her dance.
After another half an hour, the family separated. Mallory and Levi would sleep at Elijah's as it was Robin and Ava's wedding anniversary and the three siblings had made a hotel reservation for the two of them as a surprise as a means to give them a weekend of being alone together.
The three Beck's strolled through the streets of New York City, since Elijah didn't have a car and it wasn't that far to his apartment anyways.
The older brunet had to firmly hold on to Levi's hand, to prevent him from running off and disappearing into the crowds of people that walked around them.
He didn't have to hold Mallory's hand, since he knew she would stay close. She strolled in front of her two brothers for a bit, taking in the sight of the skyscrapers that were located all around them. She wasn't used to it, not nearly, even when she came here pretty often. Most of the Beck family lived upstate in the suburbs, and didn't come to Manhattan too often, which both Mallory and Levi thought to be a shame.
"Don't go too far, alright Mall?" Elijah spoke a little louder than usual, trying to make himself heard above the see of white noise that came with being in a city.
A nod was sent his way, and so the three continued their walk.
As Elijah continued to stroll across the streets, a weird sensation washed over him and a slight shiver ran down his spine, feeling like he was being watched.
He relaxed his tense shoulder however, as he felt like he was being crazy, and let a soft sigh escape his lips.
"What's up?" Levi spoke from beside him, looking up at him with big eyes.
The brunet shook his head softly, shooting his younger brother a smile, "Nothing. Just your brother being weird."
"If you say so.."
