My World Flipped Upsidedown (Prince of Bel-Air Style)
Surprisingly, I wasn't awoken by the sun in my face, but by a rather unusual feeling in my stomach. I did the usual morning routine and headed straight to the cafeteria.
"Hungry." A deep voice echoed in my head.
"Huh? Who said that?"
"I AM HUNGRY!"
It shouted, forcing me to grab up a whole lot of sandwiches and stacked them on a brown bag, carrying it back to my room since the bell doesn't ring in the next two hours or so.
It's like I couldn't wait to get upstairs, I ripped open the bag and ate like it was the last supper. After all of that, I began to feel upset and ran to the toilet to puke.
After vomiting for about five whole minutes, I got up and washed my face. I looked in the mirror and was shocked at what I saw. It wasn't me in the reflection.
It was black with a purplish tint and big, white eyes that stared back at me, smiling ear to ear with sharp teeth.
"Hello there."
"Ah!" I screamed and fell on the tiled floor. I felt a tug on my chest and I suddenly got back up to my feet but not on my own command. It's like that thing on the mirror was controlling me. And there I was again, facing the mirror.
And so, I asked, "Who are you? Are you the one speaking in my head?"
"Yeah, yeah I am.
My name is Vice,
I was the slimy thing that dropped on your head. I read your mind, you seemed to be going through a lot."
"Yes, yes I am."
"So you came through my pipe when I turned it on and plus you're like that Venom person.."
"Yeah, something like that.
So I have a bargain, if you cooperate with me, you might just survive. If you fail to follow my orders, I'll consume you from the inside out."
"And if I do?"
"You'll see. You'll see.." Her voice faded away, and with that, I fainted.
The ringing of the school bell made me gain consciousness. The bell sounded louder than yesterday, it echoed in my ears and my head began to swing. I couldn't even see clearly.
"What.. Is that annoying sound!?"
"It's the bell, does it.. harm you or something?" I got up to my feet, holding my head.
"Yes, it does. And fire as well."
As I walked through the halls, my body felt at unease.
I felt isolated, I wonder if anyone else was going through something like this?
"Yes, and they're getting closer by the minute."
"Who is it?" I began to look around nervously.
Miles saw me and decided to come say hi. "Hey Hanami."
"Oh- Hi Miles!"
"What you doing standin' 'round, we're late for class."
"Oh yeah, I thought I forgot something.." We walked to class together.
"This isn't gonna have a good ending.." Vice sighed to herself.
