Just wanted to say a quick thank you to @katt_styless for helping me with this idea. I would have dedicated the part to you, but as you can see I already did for another user. Thanks so much chingu! <3

It is a cold winter evening and you are walking home from your late night classes at the local university. Your steps are careful and easy, ensuring your balance. Your notification ringtone goes off from your phone that is stuffed deep inside your pocket. You pull it out and read the text upon digging it out. As you begin to reply, you fail to notice a car heading down the street your walking across. The car's horn beeps loudly just as someone else's body collides with yours, forcing you to the icy sidewalk. With your heart racing, you look up to see a very familiar face looking equally as scared as you.

"M-Mark? What the? What are you doing here?" you ask, totally shocked.

"Evidently, it looks like I'm saving your life," he says, slightly grinning. You just keep a straight face and blink your eyes, still trying to figure out what is happening. The smirk disappears and he stands up, bringing you with him. He lets out a heavy sigh as you straighten your spine out. "You probably want to know the real reason I'm here, right?" he says after a silence passes.

"That'd be helpful yeah," you reply. He takes a deep breath before he starts talking again.

"I just needed to see you," he admits, now looking right at you.

"Well, what about Rachel? I mean, you guys are married now, so shouldn't you be with her?"

"We didn't," he says plainly. You lower your eyebrows in confusion. "We didn't get married."

"What do you mean you didn't get married?" you ask, becoming more confused by the second.

"Well after you had to leave early, I thought a lot about what you said," he begins. "Then we talked and decided it wasn't right." You nod your head slowly to cover up the tears beginning to form in your eyes. It fails in the end and he walks over to you, pulling you into a hug. "I realized that I shouldn't be wearing a tuxedo unless I was getting ready to marry you," he says softly, causing the tears to stream down your cheeks slowly. You sniffle a little, wiping your tears in fear that they will freeze on your face in such cold weather. He hugs tighter before you eventually return his hug.
