Adora and Catra had been married for almost sixteen years.
The last sixteen years had not been easy.
Hordak had carefully and quietly taken over Dryl.
Entrapta was happily working for him again. And it was very unfortunate for everyone. She was more devoted to her robots than the people that actually cared about her.
Hordak had rebuilt his troops and had started a war with Bright Moon a few years after the fall of The Fright Zone. He was beyond bewildered by Adora/She-Ra being alive. Bright Moon had won that battle they had more advanced tech from Bow and his family. He'd gotten seven of his many brothers to come to Bright Moon and work for Queen Angella.
Having knowledge and the huge library available from Lance and George, Bow's fathers, was a gift.
The princess alliance had seen it's good and bad days. There had been a time when it fell out, but after a lot of coaxing from Glimmer and Adora it healed from the rift.
Two wars later, She-Ra and Hordak fought to the death and she of course won it. Entrapta built walls and other robotic gates and gadgets to keep everyone out. She felt like she didn't need anyone except her staff.
The rest of the princesses let her be. It was heartbreaking to know she'd rather be alone than with them.
Catra watched as the sky went dark. "I can't believe another ship landed here."
Adora laid her head on her shoulder. "Me either, baby. I haven't used my powers in almost a year. I like the normal. I guess there's work to be done. Frosta is having a major fit and I don't blame her."
"Mini two headed fire breathing dragons melting her land, yeah, not fun." Catra said.
Dragomor, another planet had sent it's people and creatures to inhabit a new land. It landed in Etheria when it's main course had been to Eternia.
"We leave in a few hours." Adora told her and looked up. "This is what the fourth ship in the last two years? This She-Ra is tired."
"Hey, at least two left and one got destroyed. Now it's time to make a deal or kill." Catra's eyes shined with delight. She loved the rush of a good fight. Over the years Adora had trained her better with sword fighting and fencing.
The lessons she'd "had" in the Fright Zone were not so ingrained in her mind.
"Mom!" Their thirteen year old son, Eithen, called out. His blonde curly hair bounced around his ears as he came over. He had the same eyes as his birth mother, Adora. "Hey, momma-cat." He waved and stepped between them. "Bow was teaching me some really cool tricks with the arrows! Can I join the fight this time?"
Adora flat out said, "No! I will not let you until you are at least sixteen!"
The whiney, "Moooom!" came out of his mouth. "Puhleaaseee." He gave the pouty puppy face to his mothers.
Catra and Adora shook their heads. "No is no in any language." Catra told Eithen. "Now go learn more stuff." He stomped his feet and ran off.
Adora kissed her. "He's a handful." Catra smiled in agreement and kissed her wife back.
Eithen's father was an old friend of Adora's. He'd given his seed and in return gave him a son. Co-parenting wasn't always joyful, but Kyle wanted to know his son and be there for him. Kyle was married to one of Perfuma's friends, Hopeana. And with Hopeana they had a daughter, Kayte.
