Mermista watched a ship burn in the distance. The fire danced happily as it consumed the wood and everything with it. Her anger rose up and she screamed out, "Crow! Get your butt over here! NOW!" 

Crow's aqua green hair popped into view. His tanned skin and dark copper eyes next. "Mom, I'm sorry." He said and hid himself again. "I swear this time it was a mistake!" 

Mermista stomped over to where her sixteen year old son was hiding. "You're gonna pay for what you did to Paulie and Marista's ship!" 

Crow sadly said, "Yes ma'am." 

"You are going to clean every inch of their home with a toothbrush! Then you're gonna help your father with fishing for a month. I'll think of more I'm just so livid right now!" 

Crow hunched his shoulders and looked at his feet. He really did feel horrible for accidentally setting the ship on fire. 

Laughter came from a balcony above. A bright smile and shining dark copper eyes looked down. "Always in trouble big brother! Will you ever learn?" 

"Lina, leave your brother alone. Go study something!" Mermista yelled up at her thirteen year old. 

"Are you gonna help me study for my science test or not?" Andrew asked his cousin. He was almost eighteen and Marika's eldest son. Lina was super smart for her age. She helped tutor her cousins a lot. 

Andrew was a few months older than Miracle or Mira as she liked to be called. Mira was Marika's sister Meranda's daughter. Then their mother had a child with Paulie a few months after that! Crazy! They named their daughter, Auliana. 

"Yeah, I almost forgot to tell you that Catra and Adora are coming here in a few days with Finn and Kizzi." 

"It's Makinzzi." Andrew corrected her. 

Lina rolled her eyes. "And we all know she likes her nickname more than her real name." 

Catra and Adora's kids, were fifteen (Finn) and thirteen (Kizzi). 

"Is Emma coming too?" Andrew inquired. 

Lina laughed. "Very likely. She's with Crow and you know it. Why hang on to someone you can never have?" She said. Like me .  .  . She then said in her own head. She also had a huge crush on Bow and Glimmer's daughter. "Yes, she's coming too with her family." 

Andrew shook his head as Lina sat on the bed and helped with the homework.

Sebastian was coming back from a small trip to SeaWorthy. He was just now getting home. 

Joining Mermista and family for dinner was Meranda, Mikey, Mira and Max. Along with Andrew, Marika, Jordan and their youngest Arissa. 

Amara was in Plumeria with her family so she couldn't join them today. 

There was the usual long wood table for the adults and a smaller round table for the younger kids. 

Mercia joined them too. He sat at the head of the table. 

Andrew was the only one at the adult table. The other teens were jealous and gave him evil looks. Crow would've sat at the table, but there was currently no room. 

Mermista needed to get another long table because there were so many people now. 

Andrew ignored them as much as he could. "Mom, could I be excused." He asked. 

Marika looked at him. She saw how much food was left on his plate. "Aren't you hungry? You barely touched it." 

"I'm gonna put it in the fridge for later." He gave his best smile to her, but she could tell something was bothering him.
