"And then from out of the shadows a tall skeletal being with a hood appeared! He hovered over me and ripped the sword from my hands!" Adora shouted in fear. "My hands were dripping with blood!" She dropped the act and laughed at the looks on Bow and Glimmer's faces.
"This Sk-Skeletor-ton thing is creepy." Glimmer said, feeling prickly shivers go down her back.
"See my story telling is WAY better than Shadow Weavers!" She said as Bow and Glimmer looked at each other.
Bow didnt like to be scared. He would rather hear a fun daring adventure story than this. "I'm going to the kitchen. Do yall want hot chocolate?"
Glimmer nodded, "Sounds delicious."
Adora smiled as he stood up. "Yes, please!"
Bow left the room and the door wide open.
Glimmer looked at the floor. "Adora, it's almost midnight."
Adora nodded. "Right."
"Tomorrow is December." Glimmer said, not knowing if she'd told her that the first of December was her birthday. "The Fright Zone never celebrated birthday's right? Do you know or have a birthday?"
Adora laughed. "Of course I have a birthday, Shadow Weaver gave it to me. She told me that I was between two and three months old when The Horde found me. She counted back to when she thinks I was born."
"When is that?" Glimmer asked.
Adora smiled, "January 19th."
"Can I tell you something?" Glimmer said as they sat across from each other.
"Anything you know that." Adora put her arm around her. "You're my best friend."
Glimmer put her head on her shoulder. "You're mine too." Adora smelled like the stables that held the horses. "You've been with Swift Wind today." And it wasn't a bad thing either.
Adora replied, "Yeah, I had to clean up a little down there. We hung out and I rode him around."
Glimmer moved the blonde hair that was near Adora's neck. "December 1st is my birthday." She whispered. "There's only one thing I want." She moved to look in Adora's eyes. "I want to kiss you."
Adora's eyes popped in shock. "Me?"
"Yes." She quietly said, moving in. "It'll be my first, what about you?"
Adora tried to move away, but failed. "Glimmer, could you stop?"
Glimmer backed off and licked her lips. She wanted to know what Adora tasted like.
"Here we go!" Bow said coming back into the room. "They are hot so don't burn your tongue." He warned the girls as he handed them the hot chocolate.
Glimmer made a face. "Would you mind getting some popcorn?" She asked Bow. "Pretty please."
He ran off to get the popcorn.
"Adora, could you please kiss me. It's really the only thing I want." Glimmer said, "It's my birthday wish." She moved closer to Adora again.
Adora put her cup down and sighed raggedly. "This is new to me too, Glimmer. I've never kissed anyone before."
"Together we can share the experience. Can we do this before Bow gets back?" Glimmer said, knowing he'd be back any moment. She didn't wait for Adora to respond she just went in and pressed her lips to Adora's.
Adora pulled back. "Glimmer." She said and saw her best friend's eyes smile into hers. "Okay." She whispered and kissed her back. It was slow and careful because she had no idea what she was doing.
Glimmer really enjoyed kissing Adora and put her arms around her neck. Adora pulled Glimmer closer their bodies smushed together.
"WHOA!" Bow loudly said.
The girls pulled apart from their make-out session. "It's okay you can come in." Glimmer told him. She noticed he didn't have popcorn. Instead it was ice cream and three spoons.
He came over feeling very out of place. "Happy Birthday." He said as he sat down.
"Aw, you remembered!" Glimmer went to hug him. "Thank you!"
Bow handed her the other two spoons and she gave one to Adora. "Are you like seeing each other now?"
Glimmer smiled. "Adora, would you like to be my girlfriend?"
This was sudden and she was still trying to wrap her head around even kissing her friend. "Maybe." She said as Glimmer frowned. "This is all so new to me. Can I think about it? I mean I might like guys too."
"Sure. Let's just eat this ice cream. Thanks again, Bow." Glimmer said as she pulled the lid off the container. "Yes! It's birthday cake flavored!"
Adora kept her distance from Glimmer while Bow was around them.
"I'll be back." Glimmer said and teleported out of her room.
Bow's head was filled with questions. "When did you and Glimmer start kissing each other?"
With ice cream in mouth, Adora said, "Ten minutes ago."
Bow laughed out loud. "Did she make the first move? You seem freaked out."
Adora nodded. "Oh she did and I am."
"Do you like kissing her?" He asked, a bit of sadness in his tone.
Adora sat up, "Yes, do you like Glimmer?" She paused and their eyes met. "As more than a friend?"
Bow scooped out a large amount of ice cream. "I use to until I found out she's gay." He said and licked the ice cream. "We've been so close for so long. I just thought we'd end up together."
Glimmer heard the confession. "You liked me?"
Bow froze. He wasn't sure what to say now. His eyes were the only thing that moved.
"That's so sweet. I liked you too for a while. Then Adora came into our lives and my heart changed it's direction. I'm sorry."
Bow got more ice cream and shoved it into his mouth. He swallowed it and said, "Goodnight ladies."
"Bow!" Glimmer called out and left he left the room. She got upset. "He's mad at me."
Adora touched her face. "He's going to be upset for a while." She leaned in to kiss Glimmer. "I'm beginning to like this a lot." She said feeling parts of her body wanting to be touched.
Glimmer pulled off her top. "Would you like to go all the way? I mean we can figure this out. This can be our personal quest. And one we can actually be really good at."
"Is that your birthday wish?" Adora asked smiling.
Glimmer smiled back and kissed her softly. "I can have more than one?"
"As many as you like." Adora said as they stripped and began doing naughty things to each other.
