Surprise

Karas POV
After everything that happened I knew both me and Lena needed a break. I put the thought further back in my mind and headed to lcorp for lunch. I stepped in the elevator and was greeted by Jess at the top.
"Miss Danvers. Good to see you. Miss Luthor is in her office."
"Thank you Jess. I had a question."
"Sure?"
"When is Lenas birthday?"
"Two weeks from now. Miss Luthor doesn't tell anyone but I'm trying to get her in the birthday spirit."
"Thank you Jess."
"No problem."
We shared a warm smile before I pushed open the doors to Lenas office and headed inside.
"Kara!"
She quickly stood up from her desk and wrapped me up in a warm hug.
"Hey babe." I returned the hug and we both headed over to the sofa.
"How's your day been love?"
"Okay I guess. Snapper is being an ass like usual."
"Kara my my, you never swear and if you do it's usually a 60's swear word anyway."
"That was one time!"
We both laughed at the memory. I had been heading out of Lenas office yesterday when I walked straight into the door. We just finished lunch when I got a call from Alex.
"Hay alex."
"Hey Kara. There is a rouge Alien just down the road from Lcorp."
"Say no more."
I hung up and turned apologetically to Lena.
"A rouge Alien. I will see you at mine tonight?"
"Of course. And Kara?"
Lena's POV
She turned to face me.
"Stay safe."
"I always am."
She smiled before jumping off the balcony. Kara and Alex were having a sister night at Karas Apartment and they both invited me and Maggie to join them.

Time Skip

I stood outside Kara's apartment, a bottle of wine in hand. The door swung open and Kara stood there with flustered cheeks and messy hair.
"Hey Lena, sorry. I was wrestling Alex. Whoever won got to pick dinner."
I walked in laughing.
"Of course you were."
We were all sat down exchanging stories from our childhood. I sat on one sofa with Kara while Maggie and Alex sat on the opposite.
"You know, living with a sister with superpowers is like living in a cartoon." Alex said with a grin.
"How so?" I asked.
"Alex..... no." Kara warned.
"So Kara was fourteen and I had decided to jumpscare her. She jumped so high she went straight through the ceiling."
"Oh my god." I was trying to hold my laughter in but was failing miserably. Kara buried her head into my neck hiding the blush that had escaped to her cheeks.
"Oh and you know how in those said cartoons the characters do that thing where they run in the air before they zoom off..."
Alex didn't finish her sentence before a pillow collided with her face.
"Score!" Kara laughed.
We sat talking for a bit more when I slowly tucked a piece of stray hair back behind Karas ear. With every touch it felt like a bolt of lightning zooming through me. She took my breath away everyday and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. She turned to face me and slowly connected my lips with hers. She pulled away leaving me breathless.
"Well. Now that I'm scarred, and traumatised, let's order food!" Alex grinned.
"Who won the food wrestle?" I asked already knowing the answer by the giddy bundle of joy that was leant into my side.
"Kara." Alex mumbled, almost inaudibly.
"Pizza and potstickers!" Kara cried running for the phone. We were soon full with empty pizza and Chinese boxes over the room.
"We should head home. With Alexandra's old age and all."  Maggie said grinning.
"Hey! You're Almost the same age as me!" Alex whined. I said goodbye to maggie while Kara said goodbye to her sister. I turned to give Alex a hug.
"Bye Alexandra."
I smirked as she lightly punched my arm.
"Dork." She laughed before following Maggie out the room. Kara turned to me with a wide smile.
"Sleepover?"
"Of course. One condition."
"Sure."
"I get to be the little spoon."
She giggled and we got dressed and ready for bed.

I woke up to sunlight streamed across my face. I looked over to see Kara still sound asleep, our limbs intertwined.
"You watching me sleep?" Kara asked sleepily.
"Yeah, you're really beautiful." She blushed and I slowly got out of bed. After a hour and a half, most of the time taken was taken to get Kara out of bed, we walking to get breakfast from Noonans before both heading to the DEO.

Kara's POV

I sat down on the sofa with Lena by my side after getting back from the DEO. We were just about to order dinner when we heard a knock at the door. I answered cautiously.
"Mom?"
"Kara I need to tell you something." Alura said clearly and quickly.
"Mom? What's going on?" I answered worried, leading mom to sit on the sofa.
"You have a sister, Kara. A biological sister."
