Previously: She sobbed softly into my shoulder and I had my arms wrapped protectively around her.
"I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"I got myself into trouble again, this time I put you at risk and you killed him. You killed him and in sorry I put you into a position to make that kind of choice."
I pulled away and put my one hand on her shoulder and the other on her cheek
"Felicity. He had you, and he was going to hurt you. There was no choice to make."
I pulled her back into a hug. I was so distracted I didn't see the body that had crawled along the floor and ran out the building.

Felicity's POV
Kara helped me up and we just stared at the blank space where Edges body once was.
"Come on, let's get back." She held out my her hand to me. I took it and she pulled me close, flying out the window. It was so peaceful, all my worries almost disappeared. Almost. When we got back Oliver was stood with a worried expression on his face. His eyes filled with worry and concern.
"Felicity."
I ran into his open arms, quietly crying into his shoulder. Lena and Kara had there arms around each other's backs. Ollie turned to Kara and thanked her before I gave her a huge hug.

Kara's POV
Oliver and Felicity walked through the breach and I walked over to Lena. She was stood filling a glass of water at the sink. I wrapped my arms around her waist and let my head relax on her shoulder.
"So. Jess told me it's your birthday soon."
"Yeah. It's not a big deal."
"It is baby." We walked over to the sofa and sat down.
"I guess it's just, when I was younger I didn't celebrate my birthday, the Luthors didn't care. Lex would give me a present but they soon turned to bombs, threats and assassination attempts making his hatred for me clear. It's always just been like any other day." Lena said sadness lacing every word.
"Then this year will be special because while at the DEO I planned a little surprise."
"What? Kara you shouldn't have."
"Well I did. Me and you are flying tomorrow and going to Disney for 10 days."
"What?"
"Surprise!"
"Your joking?"
"No... why?"
"That's like, okay ever since I was younger I've always wanted to go to Disney, but the luthors didn't pay attention to me for more than 1 second so I just used to draw and dream about one day going, Kara this the best gift ever. Thank you."
"We're gonna have the best time."
"We're also getting pictures with the characters."
"Of course. I love you Lena."
"I love you most."
"Not possible but okay."
I smiled and kissed her soft lips. She smiled against it and placed a hand behind my head. We pulled away and my heart melted. I didn't know how it was possible for someone to be so adorable.
"You know when I was younger I never felt home, it's something I never felt after my mom died. With the Luthors always giving me the cold shoulder I always felt like an outsider, like I didn't belong." I said quietly.
"But when I'm with you, where ever we are, I always feel home. I feel happy and loved." I continued. Kara smiled and kissed me softly.
"I will always be here Lena, I'm never ever leaving your side and it's my mission to make sure you life is filled with happiness and love because you deserve that and so much more." I smiled at her, a lump forming in my throat.
"I love you Kara."
"I love you too. You know. She would be so proud of you."
"Who?"
"Your Mum. I reckon she is smiling at you, a warm feeling of accomplishment knowing that the most amazing woman in the planet is her daughter."
My heart warmed and a few stray tears escaped my eyes. I wiped them quickly.
"She would love you too." I said smiling.
"Really?"
"Yeah, she would laugh at your craziness and be so happy to call you her daughter in law."
We shared another smile before falling asleep ,wrapped up in each other's arms, comfortably on the sofa.

Kara's POV

I woke up the next morning with Lena laid in my arms. I slowly untangled my limbs from hers and covered her with a blanket while I went to get coffee from the kitchen. I noticed a note attached to my door that hadn't been there when Lena and I had fallen asleep last night.
This. This is just the beginning. Things are about to get so much worse for you, your friends and your family. Mark my words, your going to wish you died when your planet exploded!
I stood staring at the note I front of me, not noticing the pair of emerald green eyes staring at me puzzled from the sofa.
