Previously:
The letter was adoption appears for a puppy Lena had wanted since she was a kid. We would be picking it up the day we got home.
We ate dinner talking about everything and anything. I stood up and we walked down to our gate ready to board the plane. We were sat on the ledge by the window. I was laid in between her legs and her arms were wrapped around the bottom of my torso. A voice knocked me from my thoughts and made Lena tense suddenly.
"Lena Luthor? Kara Danvers?"

I looked up to see Morgan edge stood there. I sat up quickly and turned to see Lena giving me a quizzical look. I was still sat between her legs, a book in her hand.
"Love? Are you okay?"
"Yeah. It was a dream, Sorry."
"Don't apologise. What was it about?"
"Nothing, don't worry."
"Love?"
"I. It was edge, he was here. That's all."
"He won't hurt you I promise. You may be the girl of steel and all but I won't let him hurt you."
"I love you, lee."
"I love you more."
We boarded the flight and within 5 and a half hours, we'd arrived.

--time skip--

I flung open the door to our hotel room and jumped on the bed.
"Leeennnaaaa, the bed is sooo comfyyyy." I giggled with excitement.
"Okay, let's get you some water and get to bed before your sugar rush gets you even more hyper." She tried to sound stern but the huge grin on her face gave it away.
"But leeennnaaaa, I'm not tiredddd."
"That's a shame." She laughed and laid on top of me, trying to keep me in one place.
"You know I'm stronger than you?" I laughed.
She rolled her eyes, her smile growing even wider.
"Kara, you literally ate every bit of Candy we had, you need to try and calm down."

Lena's POV
She laughed and flipped me over so I was laid with my back on the bed.
"I wuv you." She giggled before kissing my cheek and bellyflopping on the other end of the bed.
After an hour of Kara bouncing off the walls, literally. No joke. I managed to get her calmed slightly and into her pyjamas. I laid in bed and Kara laid next to me. She moved her head to lay on my chest and soon fell into a deep sleep with her hand wrapped tightly around my waist. It filled my stomach with butterflies and I couldn't stop the smile breaking out on my face, how did I get so lucky.
"I love you, Kara Zor-El." I muttered before falling asleep, cuddling Kara protectively.
