||THIRTY SIX||

"What the fuck?" Kylie mumbled when the demon she was fighting with suddenly disappeared. Marisol stood up straight and her eyes moved across the field. One by one, demons began disappearing from the battlefield. They glanced at each other and Marisol chewed the inside of her lip nervously.

"What should we do?..." Marisol asked Kylie nervously. Kylie inhaled deeply and she looked at the area around her.

"Let's go find anyone else and see if they have any idea of what's happening," Kylie muttered. Marisol nodded and they both launched themselves into the sky to try and get back to base.

"What the actual fuck?" Esmeralda mumbled, looking at the empty battleground. She lowered her bow and looked at BamBam who decided to join her. BamBam merely shrugged and Esmeralda looked out. "Something's going on, we should leave now and find anyone else." BamBam nodded and watched Esmeralda's retreating figure.

BamBam smirked as he saw her leave and his heart pounded louder. His thoughts drew to Diana and hopefully to bring her down. He glanced around and once he noticed that Esmeralda was a safe distance away, he turned around and walked to where he left the real BamBam.

"Move out of the way!" Candy cried out as she opened the door and dropped Diana on the floor. Jackson saw her bleeding and took a step back, unsure what to do. Diana groaned at the thump she felt around her. Slowly, she could feel her senses leaving and she felt tired. Thankfully, Apollo's weapon wasn't poisoned, but he did strike her harshly.

"Jesus," a short girl cried out, her pink wings folded behind her. "Why does she always get hurt? I knew she was clumsy but not like this," she joked.

"Now's not the time to joke Jasmine, go look for more hurt soldiers and bring them. Apollo said he'd be back at noon tomorrow to continue, and we need everyone healed," Candy commanded. Her eyes shifted around the room and landed on Namjoon.

"How can I help?" Namjoon asked and Candy forced a smile towards him. She glanced outside and sighed.

"Stand outside and ask people of the quote, from what I recall, we managed to tell everyone so all of our soldiers know it. If someone doesn't know it, come find me and I'll deal with them." Candy told him. Namjoon nodded and moved outside to follow the orders.

Candy huffed in annoyance as she stared at Diana who stayed silent the entire time. Candy couldn't deny the worry growing in her chest but she could only push it out and continue to work. No matter what happened, she has to stay strong for Diana and the rest of their little gang.

Namjoon's eyes scanned the area after letting in Esmeralda. She told him that Bambam would be coming soon so he was hoping to be able to go inside and check on Diana. Something was drawing him towards her but his mind always shortwired when he thought too much of it.

"Hyung!" Bambam called out, moving a bit quicker to meet with him. Namjoon gave him a small smile but placed his hand out to stop him from entering.

"Hold up, Esme told me that you knew the password to get in," Namjoon told him looking at him expectantly.

"W-what?"

"Yeah, nothing gold can stay."

"I-I don't remember this..." BamBam told him. Namjoon raised his eyebrow in confusion.

"Alright, answer this instead: what's your real name?" Namjoon took notice of him clenching his jaw and the way his eyes hardened. His mind reeled as he tried to figure out a way for him to call Candy's attention without bringing the attention of Not BamBam to him.

"Ah right, you're embarrassed of your name, I forgot," Namjoon lied, giving him a small smile. Almost immediately, Not BamBam relaxed and Namjoon glanced at the person nearing the door.
