Marisol expected her job to be quiet easy, just attacking any monsters that showed up and putting up shields when they needed to. She didn't expect to be fighting with Youngjae about letting her eat cucumbers.

"I'm here saving your asses and you aren't letting me eat whatever I want!" Marisol told Youngjae with a glare. Jackson and Mark sat behind them.

"This is honestly better than a K Drama," Jackson whispered to Mark. Mark nodded excitedly and turned his attention back to Marisol and Youngjae.

"Cucumbers are poison! They're disgusting I can't believe that you LIKE eating them!"

"Youngjae leave Marisol alone! She's allowed to eat what she wants," Jaebum said tiredly. At times he feels like he's raising kids, that's probably why he acts childish as well.

"Yeah Youngjae, listen to your hyung," Marisol said smiling. She ripped her plate with cucumbers away from his hands and began to eat them happily. She turned around and skipped out of the kitchen.

"Sometimes I wish I was back in the apartment with my dad," Youngjae muttered angrily at Jaebum. Jaebum sighed and placed his face in his hands.

"Youngjae, Marisol has to protect all of us, that's why we were moved back into the dorm," Jaebum said with no emotion. Youngjae huffed but decided to leave it at that. He left the kitchen and Jaebum left after a few seconds. Mark and Jackson stayed, watching the empty spot in the kitchen.

"Is it just me or could you feel the sexual tension?"

"...it's just you Jackson."

"Boys hurry up! We have a meeting with management! Marisol is even done before you guys!" Jaebum yelled. Marisol looked up appalled.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" Marisol cried out.

"Well— you're a girl," Mark pointed out. Marisol only glared at him, cracking her knuckles slightly.

"No shit Sherlock, I have a uniform to wear when I'm on duty! That's why I take less time then you dipshi—"

"We're ready!" BamBam calles out, walking into the living room. Jackson soon followed and Youngjae was the last one to leave the bedroom.

"Okay, let's get going!" Jaebum said, waiting for Marisol to lead the way. Marisol marched out and glanced everywhere before summoning a portal to take them to JYP Entertainment.

"Seunghoon-ssi, this is Marisol. We told you about the curse and stuff well, she's our personal protector," Mark said to their manager. Seunghoon nodded and looked at Marisol thoughtfully.

"Couldn't they have assigned you a boy?" Seunghoon asked. Marisol perked up at this and narrowed her eyes toward him.

"And what, exactly do you mean?" Marisol asked in a cold tone.

"Well, we wouldn't like to deal with any dating rumors between you and the band," Seunghoon explained calmly.

"Well, Natu Diana assigned me to your boys considering Youngjae is the person with the most risk on the curse." The air was tense and Marisol wasn't backing down from the glare that Seunghoon shot at her. Suddenly his face relaxed and he let out a hearty laugh. Marisol felt confused and so was the rest of GOT7.

"I believe you'll do a wonderful job Marisol-ssi. I was only testing you to see if you could handle the boys since they are a handful," Jackson let out a cry of protest at this but he was ignored by Marisol and Seunghoon. Marisol nodded and smiled back. She always loved a challenge.

"Finally! We can go home!" Jinyoung cheered, arm thrown casually around BamBam's. Marisol smiled at their energy and glanced around her, searching for anything. The boys decided to practice a bit after the meeting and the sun was already going down, making it very dangerous for them. A small ripple in the air caused her to freeze.

"Shut up," Marisol demanded. Youngjae opened his mouth to protest but Mark shot him a look once he saw how serious Marisol looked. "Quick, huddle together. Now!" She demanded. The boys were quick to comply since they could sense the urgency in the situation. Marisol quickly started performing a protective charm, she could sense the demon watching her. Her mind raced with thoughts as she tried to remember all the details she could about the Caecus. A type of demon that is invisible until they are hurt. The spell was completed and she turned around wildly. The chain around her waist clanging together.

Marisol quickly brought out two daggers, tying them to the end of the chain. Caecus are dangerous to fight without a weapon, considering they had long claws that are used to swipe at unsuspecting people. The boys stared at her curiously as they saw her crouched slightly, going against... nothing!

Marisol threw an end of the chain to her left and the boys were surprised when they heard a screech and a line of blood appeared midair.

Marisol lunged at where the blood was, but it was difficult since demon blood is black and the sky was quickly darkening. She swiped left and right, trying to hit the Caecus once more. Marisol let out a small yelp when she felt something graze her stomach. She quickly leapt back and glanced down at her stomach. It's only a scratch Marisol, you're good, she comforted herself, already getting back into a fighting stance. She threw her chain again and smiled when the thing howled and the blade was lodged into the Caecus. She tugged harshly and felt it's strength.

This can't be, it's already rare for a Caecus to be here, but this is strong too! Something is going on, Marisol thought as she used the other end of the chain to cut at the Caecus. She felt it go through something thick before being in the air again. The Caecus showed itself and Marisol smiled smugly. The demon was no longer invisible but it was in the form of a monkey, just a monkey with red black fur and no head. The head lay a few feet away from the body and it's black eyes lay unblinking. The creature than turned into a gold like dust and disappeared. She turned to the boys who let out a yelp at how Marisol looked.

"You're bleeding!" Youngjae told her softly and pointed to Marisol's stomach. She shook away their concerns with a smile and told them that it's only a scratch. She brought down the shield and quickly made a portal to the dorms, ushering the boys in quickly. She gave a quick glance around her before entering behind the boys.

"Marisol, you should get that checked out," Jaebum told her worried. Marisol glanced down and winced at the sight of blood. I guess it wasn't just a scratch, she thought to herself.

"I should call Candy, she'll know what to do," Marisol told them and quickly communicated with Candy. In no less then two minutes, Candy was in the living room. She quickly cleaned the wound and placed a magical paste on it, to help with healing and scaring that, hopefully, wouldn't happen. But than again, scars  are a large part of the Volatus culture.

"What even attacked you?" Candy asked. Marisol inhaled a sharp breath when Candy placed pressure on the wound.

"A Caecus," she felt Candy freeze and saw the worry in her eyes.

"That— that shouldn't be— I need to talk to Diana about this. Uhh, bye Marisol, don't forget to clean the wound!" With that, Candy made another portal and went through it, presumably to BTS' dorms.

"What did she mean?" Jackson asked confused.

"I have no idea. I'm hungry though, what type of food do you guys have?" Marisol asked turning towards them. The boys flushed and looked away. "What?" She glanced down and saw that she was in a, very revealing, tank top. "Are you guys embarrassed by this? You do realize that I put this on so that Candy could look over my wound right?"

Jaebum coughed awkwardly before turning to the kitchen. "Yeah, we have kimchi and meat for dinner," he said. The boys headed towards the kitchen and Marisol threw on a sweater, just so that they could eat normally. Dipshits, she thought.
