Marisol huffed and dodged rapidly, her chest heaving as Kylie threw another black orb. The orb wasn't hurtful, it only caused Marisol to freeze. Marisol grabbed her throwing knives and thrusted them towards Kylie, before Kylie blocked it with a black shield. Ever since the meeting, Diana has had everyone working to the bone, even the boys. Right now, Candy was going over basic healing spells with GOT7.

"I think that's enough for today, huh?" Kylie panted. Marisol nodded before flopping onto the ground. She raised an arm to block out the fluorescent lights but something, or rather some-one, beat her to it.

"Mari, you okay? You were practicing pretty hard," Youngjae asked, peering down at Marisol. Marisol nodded and laid down, her wings digging into her back kind of funny, but she didn't mind.

"Marisol! Get off those wings, now! You're going to hurt yourself!" Candy called out, her voice laced with worry. After the meeting, it seemed as if Candy knew something that they didn't know. Which makes sense since Diana tells her everything. Marisol whined but didn't try to get up at all. She let out a loud yelp when she felt hands hooking her knees and another hand going against her back.

"Yeah Marisol, get up!" Youngjae teased, a soft blush on his cheeks. Marisol didn't notice his blush, but rather hers since she's never been held by a guy. Well no, that's a lie. Jose had to carry her one time because she accidently twisted her ankle during a mission. He doesn't let her live that down since the reason her ankle twisted was because she was acting cocky. Now she still acts cocky, just less.

Marisol blinked before wiggling to let her down. Youngjae laughed and tried to hold on tighter, not wanting to let her fall.

"Youngjae!" Marisol whined, her chain clanging loudly against their bodies.

"Marisol!" he mimicked, a soft smile on his face.

"Youngjae, put her down! You're going to drop her!" Jaebum yelled out suddenly, pulling the two out of a trance. Youngjae blinked a few times before seeing how he was carrying her bridal style and let her down gracefully.

"Sorry," he mumbled. Marisol smiled and brushed out any wrinkles on her shirt.

"It's fine," she whispered.

"This is making me cringe," Jackson said, turning towards Mark.

"Tell me about it. It reminds me of Strong Woman Do Bong-soon and her crush on Guk-doo," Mark mumbled back, his attention going back on to the task at hand.

"Who's  Bong-soon then?"

"Mmm, definitely Youngjae." Jackson stayed quiet at that and looked at the two awkward people.

"Yeah I can see that."

Youngjae was tired

Youngjae was tired. He was tired of being an idol sometimes and he was tired of the extra lessons. He wanted life to go back to normal, where the only thing he worried about was learning choreographies and vocal practice. Youngjae doesn't know why he did what he did and, in hindsight, it was very stupid.

He sneaked out. He sneaked out like a rebelling teen instead of an adult. But he was tired, he missed his freedom. He missed being able to go out and see his dad and just go out for breakfast with the group. Now, now he's stuck being babysat by a 153 cm tall woman. Sorry, he meant short. Youngjae pulled up his hoodie and plugged in his earbuds. Immediately, Umbrella by Younha came up and Youngjae scoffed bitterly.  Of course, he thought. When I want to forget about Marisol, this love song comes on. Youngjae sighed and skipped songs, an older one coming on. He doesn't know the name of it, but he needs anything to stop her from coming in his mind.

Youngjae doesn't even know if Marisol feels that way for him. He doesn't know any Volatus rules and he doesn't want Marisol to deal with a relationship when he knows stuff is going down. He continues walking for what feels like ages, his feet guiding him since his heart and head are somewhere else.

He doesn't notice that he's in the gang populated area of Seoul. He doesn't notice the empty street. He doesn't notice the flickering light. He doesn't notice the ripple in the air.

What he does notice is his heart clenching when he remembers Marisol's smile. He notices his hands becoming clammy upon realizing that he held Marisol that day. And he finally notices the weird heart beat. The music ended and he brought out his phone, surprised to see that it was 8, even though he left the house at 4. The street was silent, until a loud clang brought Youngjae to look over his shoulder.

"Hello?" He called out shakily. Now all the things he didn't notice before, he's noticing now. He quickly struggled to make a shield but jumped in surprise when it broke for no reason. Unless... Youngjae has to go against a Caecus.

Youngjae bolted, turning corner after corner, hoping he could lose the creature he couldn't see. His breaths came out harsh and gravelly, his heart pounding. In his head, he was praying to every god he knew to protect him. His feet slipped out beneath him but he was quick to regain balance and continue running. He panted and his legs felt as if they would collapse underneath him, but he had to continue. He had to if he wanted to survive.

Soon the inevitable happened, his legs collapsed underneath him and he laid sprawled out on an alley floor. Youngjae turned around and saw with wide eyes the Caecus come into view. It seemed that it couldn't hold it's invisibility any longer and appeared out of thin air in front of him. Youngjae gasped loudly and brought up his arms as he saw the Caecus raise it's claw.

"Fuck!" A loud voice said, and it brought Youngjae to look up. In front of him was Marisol, the Caecus' arm tied in her chains and a small scratch on her forearm.

"What are you doing?! RUN YOU IDIOT!" Marisol yelled, her chain cracking slightly at the pressure. Youngjae got out of his trance and ran, before bumping into Kylie.

"C'mon, Marisol asked me to take you back!" Kylie said hurriedly, grabbing onto his wrist.

"B-But, what about Marisol?" He panted.

"She can take care of herself! It's you we were worried about! What in the actual fuck were you thinking?! Marisol called me crying that you snuck out and she didn't know how to find you! You're an adult, fucking act like it!" Kylie snapped, quickly making a teleporter. Youngjae didn't think about how Marisol would react. He figured he'd be back before anyone noticed. In a blink of an eye he was back at the dorms, his band mates sprawled out in the living room.

"Youngjae!" They all cried out before lunging towards him for a hug. Kylie stayed with them until Marisol comes back, but he felt that something wasn't right. He felt as if Marisol was in trouble, but he didn't know why since he was chased by a Caecus. Last time Marisol got rid of one in 5 minutes.

So why has an hour passed and Marisol hasn't returned?
