Serena's P.O.V
2 hours later
I opened my bedroom door after I had taken a nap. Roman was asleep in front of my door. I stepped over Roman and walked to the kitchen to get something to drink. I turned around and went back into my room. Roman grabbed my ankle. I jumped and nearly dropped my cup
"You scared me!" I put my cup on the dresser
Roman stood up and sat on my bed next to Jordyn "So.... Counseling is tomorrow....."
I just shrugged. I didn't really care. I said what I had to at dinner
"You're still agreeing to come, right?"
"Whatever. I guess" I rolled my eyes
Roman stood up and walked over to me. He put his arms around my waist and pulled my pelvis close to his
"This isn't about to happen" I stepped back with Roman's arms still around me
Roman slowly kissed me. I kissed back for a few seconds. I grabbed his chin and moved his face away from mine
"Babe...... "
"Don't call me that" I calmly said. I got out of his grip
Roman held my arm "What about wifey..." Roman smirked
Is he kidding me right now "No" I strictly said "Now, let go of me. You should be getting back to Jessica"
"I wanna stay with you....." Roman pleaded, softly pushing me to a wall
I rolled my eyes and brushed past Roman. He squeezed my ass. I jumped and turned to him, angry
"Whats wrong with you" I yelled
"I can't get over you" Roman looked in my eyes. I stared right back into his sexy eyes. Roman held my cheek
I opened my mouth to say something, but I was lost for words
"I know u feel the same because you said that u still loved me"
I snapped out of it and moved Roman's hand "I was emotional"
"It was the truth"
"What do you know about truth"
Roman sighed "How about.... You do a lie detector test and we'll find out if you still love me or not"
"The reason for that is..... " I put my hand on my hip
"So I can know that I'm not the only one feeling this way"
"IM feeling irritated"
"If you still do love me, then........ We should start our relationship all over... "
I stared at Roman in disbelief "No" I quietly said
"What.... " Roman looked upset
"You want us to be together again..... And for what?! So I be heartbroken again. What's a relationship without trust?! I don't trust you!"
"I can make you fall in love with me all over again. I can prove myself"
I was so fed up "DO U NOT UNDERSTAND THAT I DON'T WANT TO BE WITH U AGAIN! YOU MEAN NOTHING TO ME ANYMORE! YOU'VE LOST ALL MY RESPECT AND LOVE FOR YOU! I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS ANYMORE!! WE'RE NOT TOGETHER AND NEVER WILL BE AGAIN!! YOU'RE SUCH A FUCK UP! I CAN'T BELIEVE I KEPT TAKING YOU BACK. I CONSTANTLY LET YOU PLAY WITH MY EMOTIONS! JUST STOP!!" I was breathing heavily
Roman looked at me for a few seconds before storming out. I threw my glass at the wall and slid down the wall
Roman's P.O.V
I can't believe how Serena just acted. I'm so angry and hurt. I didn't even bother going back to my room. I went outside
Four Days Later
I was standing outside of Roman's hospital room. I was really hesitant to go in. Night Of Champions is in two days and Roman can't compete. He had to get hernia surgery
Roman's been around me since I blew up on him, but only for Jordyn. We've barely made eye contact. Roman and I haven't even been speaking sentences to each other
I took a deep breath and slowly went in the room. Surprisingly, no one was in there with Roman. I sat on a chair far from his bed, quietly. I think Roman was asleep. He's going to be out of wrestling for a couple of months
"Serena..... " Roman groaned with his eyes still closed
"Yea...... " I slowly said
"Come over here....." Roman gestured to the seat next to him
I slowly sat down next to Roman. He grabbed my hand
"Thanks for coming" Roman said
"No problem" I shrugged "How do you feel...." I softly asked
"Better with you" Roman opened his eyes and turned towards me
"I-i I'm....... I'm sorry about what I said the other day..... I could've handled that better"
"I understand why u said it"
I half smiled and looked away "And..... I guess we can start over"
I turned back to Roman and saw him cheesing. I blushed "I meant as good friends" I calmly said, looking out the window
Roman grunted "Fine"
"Good" I looked at Roman
"I l-"(gco)
"And no saying 'I love you'"
"What about as friends"
"We both know we wouldn't mean it as friends" I giggled a little
"Glad to see that I can do something else than hurt you" Roman rubbed my hand with his thumb
I just shrugged. Then, the door opened and Jessica came in. I saw Caleb behind her. I slipped my hand from Roman's
"I guess I'll be going....." I stood up
"No... " "Good idea" Roman and Jessica said in unison
I rolled my eyes and bumped past Jessica. I quickly smiled at Caleb. He came into the hallway with me
"Are u ok" Caleb held my hands
"Of course" I shrugged like it was nothing
"Where's Jordyn"
"With Abrielle"
"Oh OK. Well, do u want to hang out tonight"
"Sure"
"Let's have dinner in my room at 8:00" Caleb suggested
"Alright" I smiled
"Well, I'm going to stay here with Roman for a little"
"K" I quickly pecked Caleb on his lips
Night
I wore a short blue dress and I curled my hair
I went to Caleb's room. He answered immediately when I knocked. I couldn't help but smile. He was wearing a tux but without a shirt
We went to the balcony and had dinner. After dinner, we looked at the stars. Caleb wrapped his arms around me from behind and kissed my neck. Then he softly laid his chin on my shoulder. I smiled
"Will you marry me" Caleb asked
My smile quickly faded. I looked down, thinking about so many things. Caleb turned me towards him
"I'm...... Just.... Not ready..... " I sighed. I kissed him and left Caleb standing there
