I haven't made eye contact with Roman since last night. Caleb didn't have a problem that Roman was here
Caleb thought it was a good idea to have breakfast together. We were in the hotel restaurant. Jordyn was with Casey right now. I was surprised when she offered
I knew Roman was smiling and looking at me but I was playing with my food "Are you OK, Serena" Roman asked me. I gave him a what do you think look
"I'm fine...." I forced myself to say it
"I need to actually talk to you..... Alone" Roman said
I looked at Caleb and he nodded. I kissed him on the cheek before I left. Roman and I went to the parking lot, which wasn't far from the cafe
"What" I said with an attitude as I sat in the car. I knew I was probably going to yell at him so I didn't want to make a scene in the parking, loudly
Roman stared at me baffled. Every time he would open his mouth, he'd close it again, trying to say something else
"What is it?!" I got impatient. Before I knew it, Roman kissed me. I held his cheek and kissed back for a second before I pushed him back
"Why'd u stop" Roman asked
"Why wouldn't I?!"
"Because u still love me!"
"Love is such a strong word...." I looked away from Roman
"You can't be with Caleb"
"Excuse me?!"
"You can't be with Caleb!"
"Tell me why I can't!" I challenged Roman
"You didn't even say yes when he proposed!"
I shrugged and acted like that it wasn't a big deal
"And you said it yourself that you still love me. I won the bet and Caleb was supposed to leave you alone" Roman's eyes widened after he said that
"A bet? What bet?!"
"Nothing!" Roman quickly lied
"Tell me!!"
"Caleb and I had a bet to see who you loved and would choose. The loser had to leave you alone"
I headed back to my room. I saw Caleb looking at me when I stormed by

"What's wrong...."
"Roman told me about the bet you two made!"
"I'm.... I'm sorry..."
I saw Roman come in but I ignored him "I'm not some kind of pawn! That's really fucked up"
"We weren't really thinking when we made the bet" Roman said
"We? It was your selfish idea!" Caleb said
"It was your selfish ass who agreed!"
"Stop!" I yelled

"I can't believe either of you" I softly said
"I did it out of love for you" Roman said
"What would you know about love" Caleb said, getting in Roman's face
"Stop arguing! Both of you were wrong!" I looked at both of them "And that shit hurts" I went into my bedroom and locked the door
