Set 28 years after the end of "Cardfight!! Vanguard G: Z World", the story of Spiral Terra follows the life of Ryuuga Sawada, a young boy with the dream of traveling the world. In his quest to see every single bit of the world, he is lead to Ryuzaki...
"AND THAT'S A CLOSE! THE WINNER OF GROUP A, APEX! AND THE WINNER OF GROUP B, SPIRAL TERRA! THESE TWO WILL MOVE THE FINALS AND ONLY ONE OF THEM WILL HAVE THE PLEASURE OF BECOMING THIS YEAR'S NATIONAL CHAMPION! GIVE THESE GUYS WILL APPLAUSES!"
The Spiral Terra and Apex team members looked at each other from across the field. Each member was looking at the one they knew it would be it's opponent. Fujiko at Yuri, Emon at Bruno, Hikaru at Renji, and Ryuuga at Masato.
"HOWEVER TELL ME SAY THIS!" Ryuzaki interjected. "WE WILL HAVE A SPECIAL FORMAT IN THESE FINALS! EACH MEMBER WILL FIGHT ONE OPPOSING MEMBER! THE TEAM WITH THE MOST WINS ONCE THE FOUR FIGHTS ARE FINISHED WINS! AND EVEN IF A TEAM GETS THREE WINS IN THE FIRST THREE FIGHTS, THE FOURTH MEMBERS WILL STILL FIGHT! LET'S BE HONEST, WE'RE CARDFIGHTS ARE WE'RE HERE TO SEE PEOPLE FIGHT WITH CARDS! WE WILL SEE YOU IN A HOUR FOR THE FINALS!"
Letting out one final sigh and looking at Apex, Ryuuga said the words that most described the final round.
"One last battle until the endgame."

"BUT WE ALSO WANT STAKES! BIG STAKES! THAT'S WHY IF ONE OF THE TEAMS GETS THREE STRAIGHT WINS, THE FINAL FOURTH FIGHT WILL BE AN ALL OR NOTHING BATTLE! THE WINNER OF THAT ONE FIGHT WILL TAKE THE PRIZE HOME! LIKE I SAID, PEOPLE, WE'RE HERE TO SEE PEOPLE FIGHT WITH CARDS BECAUSE WE ARE CARDFIGHTERS! I'M RYUZAKI MIKAZUCHI, THE FIRST FIGHT OF THE FINAL MATCH WILL START IN TEN MINUTES, AND DON'T THINK THAT YOU'LL WIN WITH A PERFECT WINNING STREAK BECAUSE EVEN THAT WILL GET CUCKED! THANK YOU!" Ryuzaki explained, throwing the microphone away. He got up from his seat and picked it up. "Oh yeah, each team gets their own private living room thing on each side of the stadium, should have said that before I threw this off. Anyway, LET THEM FIGHT!" He threw it again.
The private rooms were rectangular shaped, with a white floor fully covered by red carpets. The walls were brown, with each edge that connected the four walls being black, as if a pillar. In the center of the room was a rectangular wooden table, behind it was a white couch, and to the right and left of the table, a white chair. In front of the table and couch, instead of a wall made of rock or steel, it was made of glass, allowing the ones inside to watch the outside.
Hikaru laid on the couch, with Ryuuga sitting on the right armrest of it as Emon and Fujiko were sitted on the chairs.
"Can we just agree that the rulings for these finals are whack?" Hikaru asked, lifting his head. "I mean an all or nothing if one tea, scores the saikyou three wins."
"It's not regular. I'll stay at that." Emon spoke, arms crossed. "I am being more talkative than these two. Abe, Sawada, what's wrong?"
"Yuri." Fujiko answered.
"The rulings are whack, but at the same time, genius." Ryuuga said, getting up and walking over to the front glass. "Even if one of the members loses on purpose so that they won't bet it all in an all or nothing, the fourth member will still have to fight for the team to either lose or win. Either way, it's an all or nothing battle."
