And yes I did mess up the title before I am so sorry so instead of changing the entire story I'm changing the title and the list in the description.

I'm sorry for doing the wrong transition in the title.

Pluto was just being his normal self. He was hanging out in his room alone just scrolling through the internet and laughing at a bunch of memes. Memes are love. Memes are life. He was confused when he heard a knock on the door with no whining mom yelling at him to go outside and hang with friends. Curious, Pluto got up from his chair and opened the door. He didn't expect to see Mochi there. Based on the pink bracelet around the left wrist, it's a her day. She had baked him cupcakes???

"Happy June, Pluto. I thought I'd come by and maybe spend the day with you since, you know, you helped me figure myself out last year."

Pluto had almost forgotten about that. Pluto just silently held the door open for her and stole a cupcake from the tray she brought with her. His mom must have been really happy to see a friend come to visit her extremely antisocial son. His mom really does try her best to make him happiest. She's poor, so surgery was out of the question. But she did get him a binder which he does appreciate.... he should really hug his mom soon.

"So Clover told me you were interested no playing some sort of instrument. Maybe a guitar or something."

It was obvious that Mochi just felt awkward and was trying to bring up some sort of conversation. She was trying her best and that's completely cool. It made Pluto crack a smile. He took a big bite out of them cupcake. Ooh, red velvet. She did remember his favorite. Of course, Mochi is the person with the best memory out of everyone here. She's also the best baker around here. Mmmm cupcakes.

"Uhh... yeah. I have been taking lessons to learn how to play the bass. Not the orchestra bass the guitar bass. I still have my recorder from elementary school."

Score! He got a laugh out of Mochi. She had already set the tray of cupcakes down on his desk where his computer was. Pluto reaches for another one, giving no bothers about not his weight just like Winnie the Pooh.

"You still have that busted up thing? Do you still have all the belts on it?"

Their elementary school gave out different colored ribbons for how skilled you were on the recorder. Out of their homeroom, Pluto was the recorder lord! Well, Recorder Princess. That was before he was old enough to really figure out that he wasn't a girl just yet. Man, what even was his birth name? It's been forever since elementary school that he forgot. It's probably on the recorder case. Pluto opened a drawer on his desk and pulled out the recorder. Oh. His name used to be Tiffany. Weird. He took out the recorder and flaunted all ten colored strings with a smirk.

"Still number one."

Then he gave an awkward snap and finger gun, making Mochi laugh again. Yep. Pluto was a living meme. He was just about to put the recorder away when his mom suddenly opened the door without knocking. Mochi looked over, controlling herself, and Pluto completed his task before giving her attention. His mom, however, had the proudest smile on her face and was super excited.

"My little boy hanging out with a friend! Oh, hold on. Let me go get myself camera! This is going in the scrapbook and I'm sending it to your father!"

She ran out and downstairs to go get her camera. Pluto and Mochi both groaned. They hated photographs! But it was still in sync so it still managed to make Mochi laugh. Pluto rolled his eyes and sat next to her on the bed. Don't worry. Pluto is AroAce so no funny business is ever going to be happening on this bed. He and Mochi shared a fist bump before his mom came running back with her camera. Even if he hates it, she does deserve to be happy. If this makes her happy.... then let there be scrapbooks.

"Okay okay okay! Say Pride Month!"

She was trying so hard to be an accepting Mom it was almost cringey. Pluto didn't say it, but Mochi did. They both held up those awkward selfie peace signs just for the meme as Miss Marzipan took the photo.

You know what? Even if it is cringey... Pluto wouldn't have it any other way.
