Niles had finally decided that it was about time she fixed her relationship with her son. Sonshe took him and his boyfreind to a pride parade happening in a city nearby. Niles wore her black, white, and purple while holding the hand of her boy while he held the hand of his boy. Niles couldn't stop smiling. She was happier than she really could be. Both boys were dressed to impress with their rainbow fashion choices. Luka was kind of a fashionista.
"Luka! come on! Flash mob! We know this number!"
"Huh! Oh yeah! Let's go!"
Niles had no time to protest before the boys ran off, the sound of Hänsel's heels clapping against the concrete ground. There was music over the clamor of everything and the two found themselves in the middle of a dance number (that's on YouTube that they must have memorized) of Lady Gaga's: Born This Way. The entire parade stopped for the flash mob, singing and clapping and dancing along.
And Niles just stood on the sidelines, watching her son be in the middle of it all. Luka was happy, spinning Hänsel around and swinging his hips along with everyone else. Niles clutched her hands together. Olivia would have loved this... but Niles wouldn't live with herself if she never had Luka or aborted him. Niles shook off the loneliness and began cheering out for Luka and his lovely boyfriend, singing along to the song that everyone else knew.
And everyone was happy.
