Day Twenty Nine: First Kiss

The night has fallen and Delilah had been thinking about this for a long time. The couple have been together for forever and still haven't kissed. Delilah has always been pressured by friends that a relationship isn't a relationship without physical affection, kissing, and intamacy. She doesn't believe the intamacy part, however she does get insecure.

They were holding hands. Olivia was leaning her head in Delilah's shoulder and she was smiling. Delilah was staring st the stars in the sky. Delilah is normally a confident, sassy young lassy. So having her be anxious about something was a... unique experience. Delilah sighed. She better get this out of the way.

"Hey... Olivia? You know I love you more than literally everything else. Right? So... can I ask for a favor?"

Olivia looked over at her, confused. Delilah's voice was uncertain and her face was traced over with worry. Olivia was concerned for a moment, was something wrong? Delilah was squeezing her hand. Her hair was frizzy, which meant that something was on her mind. Like insecurity. Olivia knew, Delilah was being insecure about the relationship. 

"Can I, uh... Can I kiss you?"

Olivia softened and nodded. She didn't mind losing her first kiss to Delilah. Delilah seemed relieved, so Olivia decided to go ahead and make it easier on Her. She leaned forward and pressed a tender kiss on her girlfriend's lips, easing her worries and making her happy as could be.

"🎶Why Don't you just let yourself be wherever you are ~🎶"

Delilah and Olivia jumped, turning around to see Tulio borrowing his "adoptive" father's ukulele, playing a few notes and replicating that once scene in Steven Universe when Lars and Sadie kiss. Olivia rolled her eyes and Delilah instantly got defensive, taking off her show and throwing it at Tulio. He was snickering all the while, his existence alone being s tease towards his sister Olivia.

"GO AWAY TULIO!!!"

"Heh heh, Got 'em."

Tulio fled when Delilah started taking off her other shoe. Delilah sighed as he escaped into the house, accidentally slamming the door shut. Delilah sighed and looked over at Olivia, extremely flustered. Olivia just smiled, holding Delilah's hand caringly. Olivia pecked Delilah's cheek, letting her know that everything was okay.

"Relax, Love. He's just being a butt."

Delilah laughed awkwardly, calming her nerves down. Yeah, everything's okay. And she got a kiss from Olivia. Score!
