Held in my country
People came from all over
To witness what took center stage
A goal in mind to eradicate poverty
Before I hit my thirties

That night we stood all united
Contributions came in
We were all delighted
To have made our mark

From this ignites a spark
Set alight an idea
Hope to build another tier
For the starving child who shed a tear
