Who was he?
Some call him the knight
Though we've never met him
A self appointed hero
His tolerance for crime, zero
What's in it for him? Not a dime
That's why we ponder
When will the will to fight end?
For there will come a time to hang up the cape
Will we be safe?
Most certainly a new kid on the block
Willing to take a few knocks
Will pick up the pieces
Left behind by the predecessor
But who was he?
We called him the knight
