Ok so first I want to give a mental picture of Izumi because I haven't given her a face to a name. Izumi's eyes are emerald green just like Izuku's, but her hair is a darker green hair. Her facial features are similar to Ochako's but with Izuku's freckles instead to her pink blush marks. As I stated in recent chapters, she's very hesitant to trust other people quickly and doesn't allow anyone besides her parents hold her more than 5 minutes. She is definitely a mamma's girl at heart but still loves her daddy. Also the part in the last chapter wasn't her activating a quirk yet. Think of it like how Sero has weird arms or Ashido has pink skin. They most likely were born this way but didn't manifest their quirk fully till later.
Now that I have that settled, this is an Eri chapter. Basically, one of the students find out about Eri's scars and confronts the Midoriya's about it. They decide it's best for everyone to know about Eri's past and how she is dealing with the still visible backlash of overhaul's abusive treatment and torture of the child. This chapter will deal with psychological trauma, child neglect, and child abuse to severe degrees. If you are not a fan of these, you are warned now.
Sunday Morning Yaoyorozu POV:
I wake up around 8:30 this morning and begin to make my way to the restrooms to wash my face and start the day. While entering, I notice the Midoriya's little snow white haired daughter Eri washing her hands while singing with a great big smile. "This is the way we wash our hands. Wash our hands. Wash our hands." I begin to smile and laugh at how adorable she is even when doing the most simplest of things. All of a sudden, I notice her stop and look intensely at something on her arms. What was once the face of sheer happiness is now replaced with a face of horror. Eyes showing innocence are now showing pain and misery to a point I almost expect her to cry any second. I take this moment to look at where her eyes are glued to and follow them to her arms that are filled with scars all over them. 'Oh my god, there's so many of them. How did she even get them all?' My mind now in horror that someone would do something so horrible to such a kind and sweet girl like Eri is unimaginable. What type of monster would do such a thing. *muttering from Eri that is to low to hear repeated* What is she saying? Should I say something to help? "Eri. Eri sweetie are you alright?" She snaps out of the trance like state she's in and looks at me. "Hi miss Yaomomomo (she can't pronounce her last name since it's hard for her age), yeah I'm great. How are you?" She smiles at me, but I still see the slight sadness in her eyes. "I'm well thank you for asking." I decide not to talk to her about it since it seems a little touchy of a subject for the little girl. I'll talk to Ochako later. Eri is her daughter so she should know where the scars are from. I just hope I don't hit a sore spot with my newly acquired friend.
Later in the morning Izuku POV:
For about an hour now, I've been sitting in the common section working on the final draft of my story for my column to send in. Since we were still getting to know each other, is in the common area talking, sharing hobbies, and just being typical wholesome college students without any M-rated content involved. I occasionally glance to my right to check on the kids and Ocha to make sure both are happy. Eri is playing with some stuffed animals with Hagakure, Kota is imitating Ida when he karate chops the air with Kirishima and Kaminari laughing at the over serious mans extent, and Ocha has Izumi with most of the girls having their own little girl talk circle. All of a sudden, I see Yaoyorozu come over and wispier something in her ear that makes her concerned. She tells her she'll be right back and comes directly to me and asks me a question in my ear. 'Momo saw Eri's scars this morning, should I tell her where their from?' I think on this knowing that it was only a matter of time before someone found out about them. I clear my throat before looking over to my right. "Kota, Eri, could you go play upstairs for me? I want to talk to the grown ups about something that I don't want you 2 to hear." Both looking at me and seeing concern agree and begin to head upstairs. I look now to my classmates and try to get their attention. "Hey can I get everyone's attention for a few minutes?" Everyone stops what their doing and looks at me. "Ok so I didn't want to say this with the kids around since this pertains to them, but I think now's a good of time as any since one of you already brought something to our attention." I begin to take my phone out and scroll down to the pictures I had of Eri's scars when I went to an affordable plastic surgeon to see if there is any way to remove or shrink some of the scarring. "I'm sure you all remember when Ocha said Kota and Eri were saved by us from villains right?" Many give audible nods saying they remember. "Well then I guess you all should already know that not every story has full happy endings to them." I pass my phone around showing the horrendous scene of scars on my daughters arms and legs. "T-t-this wasn't normal a-a-abuse was it Midoriya?" I look at Ida who made the comment. "I wish it was. Eri's quirk is called rewind. Basically, she can rewind anything and everything to a pre-existing state. whether it is health, time, or genetic wise." "That's amazing, with a quirk like that the amount of damage control that cities need to do would be reduced exponentially. Not to mention the amount of injuries quickly healed because of it." "It certainly is Ida, but that's also part of why she went through what she did." Everyone that doesn't already know what I mean look at me unaware of what I mean, while those that do look away in regret for what happened. "I think it's best if we start at the beginning."
