Dabi POV:

When we start to leave the area of the large group of thugs, we find our way downwards with Ochako deactivating her quirk. Once we land, Izuku looks over to the area we left Ejiro with some worry. "Ejiro." ""Keep focused Deku. Red Riot made us an opening, we need to use it to get to the center of town." "Dabi's right Izu, we can't turn back now. Not when were so close." He takes a long exhale before agreeing. 'I get how you feel Izuku, I hated leaving Shoto behind like that. But what choice do we have right now?' As we start running to the center, a guy with a hood on comes down and nearly crushes us with hands of ice.

"This is as far as you heroes go." "Bastards!" Izuku tries to activate his quirk, but I beat him to the punch. I incinerate his ice limbs to make him fall back down to earth. "I've got this wannabe you two. Take a detour and I'll catch up with you later." "No, I'm not leaving anyone else behind!" "This isn't up for debate, you need to finish this so we can put an end to the League once and for all." He tries to fight with me until some ice is sent to us with me incinerating it. "Go! I got this!" "Grrr, stay alive. That's all I'll say. Lets go Ocha." They start to leave with me facing the guy.

"Very bold of you Dabi to face me alone. Foolish, but admirable." He tries to attack me with more ice to make me create a ring of fire around us. "Funny, because the only fool I see is you. Don't you know." I create a large amount of blue fire to melt any and all ice in the area. "Ice melts!" "Perhaps, but I am able to control all forms of ice." I start to hear rustling around me in all directions. 'This can't be good.' What seemed like frozen foods and other things with ice possibly on it came to surround him and create a dragon of it. "So you made an even bigger icicle to control? Now that's what I call interesting."

The ice beast starts attacking with me needing to dodge before incinerating it with my flames. '*sniff* Dammit, I'm going overboard.' I start to smell my flesh burn to show I'm reaching my limit with my fire. "Seems your reaching your limit Dabi." "Says the man that's losing all his firepower. Or should I say, icepower." "Seems you don't know much about me. I can not only control ice, but I can also freeze water and such by adjusting the temperature with my ice." 'Oh shit.' The ground below me starts to break open with ice coming out in a spike at me. I was able to dodge with the guy floating on ice.

"Understanding your opponents quirk is vital to win. From what I have seen of your past endeavors, I can safely say this. Your weak to your own flames, aren't you?" I start to get angered by this knowing he can tell I'm at my limit. 'I gotta make some distance.' I create a puff of smoke to evade him to only be met with ice coming at me in all directions. 'Nnngh!' One of them hits me in my thigh to make me have to limp away. I start to make a bit of a distance run until finding a house to duck out into. "Dammit, he couldn't have gotten far. What a time for our faction to be dwindled down to this degree." I start to hear him outside to make me stay away from windows.

Once I didn't notice him with a mirror I found, I look down at my thigh to see how bad the ice got me. '*sigh* This is gonna hurt.' I reach for some cloth to rip up for a makeshift bandage before bracing myself for ripping the ice out. I take a deep breath and yank the ice out as quick as I could. The pain caused me to silently scream before wrapping my thigh immediately after. Once that was done, I threw my head back and panted a bit. "Shit, this is gonna be tough." "Come out and face me fool! Face death at someone that can easily beat you!" 'He's not gonna let up, is he? I'd respect that if he wasn't a villain.' I start to think on my statement before remembering some of my life.

9 years ago, first year of UA

"It's nice to meet you. my names Dabi." I introduce myself to the pro hero Jet Thoughts who was gracious enough to have me as an intern after the sports festival. "It is nice to meet you Dabi. As you already know, I am Jet Thoughts. And this is my sidekick Ragdoll. She was a student at UA not that long ago herself and is training under me the same as you." I look over to the girl to see her smiling at me. 'Why is she so happy?' "It's nice to meet you Dabi! I hope we can become good friends!" "Uh, yeah. Me too I guess." I start scratching the back of my neck confused what to say.
