Izuku POV:

I just make it in time before they begin the pageant to the back stage and start looking for Toga. On my way, I bump into Hado and notice she's a little nervous. "Hey Izuku. What are you doing back here?" "Toga asked me to play piano for her in her song. You ok, you seem a bit on edge." "I'll be ok, just a little nervousness." She holds a distant smile to prove she's scared of what the outcome will be. "Hado, you've fought villains, been put in situations that require you to keep calm when everyone else isn't, and have seen me beyond pissed to a point I even scared myself. This is nothing compared to those things, you'll do great."

She sees me smirk a bit before hugging me. "I can see why Ochako married you." She heads off with me holding a weird face. 'Did a girl other than Ocha and my family hug me? Weird, but I have more important things(he does not get hugged that often outside of his family and Ochako).' I turn back to looking for Toga and see her in a corner panicking. "Toga, you ok?" "I'm scared. What if they don't like it, what if they think I was stupid to sing, what if I mess up, what if-" "TOGA! BREATHE!" She gets out of her mental state to see me pat her head. "You'll do fine. You've sung this song forward to back and will do great. Everyone in 1-A is excited to hear you, so just do your best and don't worry what happens after."

She looks up to me and questions my statement. "Even Kaachan?" "His words to me were, 'Can't wait to see crazy's performance. She's fucking awesome to do something like this'." She looks at me and smiles before hugging me. 'And that weird feeling is back again. I may have to get used to this.' "Thanks Izu, your a good guy." I pat her back and smile a bit. "We all can be nice when we want to be." "Will Himiko Toga please come to the stage, your on next." "That's your cue, you ready." She starts patting her cheeks to get any last minute gitters out before looking at me and smiling. "Ready."

3rd person POV:

Everyone of 1-A had taken seats close to the stage as to Mineta's request who had regained consciousness shortly after their performance ended. They weren't as annoyed by this since they wanted to stay close to the stage to watch Kendo and Toga perform with no restrictions of view. "A stunning showing of power and beauty by Ms. Itsuka Kendo of class 1-A." They had just finished Kendo's performance of chopping through several blocks with her bare hand with ease and were lugging a piano up near the stage. "Now ladies and gentlemen, presenting our next contestant. Another member of class 1-A. Please give a round of applause for Himiko Toga." Toga walks on the stage with Izuku behind her sitting down by the piano. "Today I will be singing a song for you all. I listened to this some time ago and felt deeply moved by it to a point I wanted to sing it today above all else. This song is a parody an online singer had done on the song Blue Bird." After saying this, Izuku began to play with Toga joining in.

As Toga began to sing, the crowd went quiet as the heard her say every note with passion. Nearing the middle, she began to hold tears in her eyes as she sang. The memories of her past started to creep up on her little by little. But instead of them silencing her, they made her want to sing even more. Out of the entire audience, only Bakugo, Dabi, and Phantom who had come just for her performance knew how deeply Toga felt with this song. Nearing the third verse, Toga started to feel the feelings of worthlessness yet again before remembering her friends and seeing them watch her with amazement for her to tell herself to pull herself back up. As she sang the last part, something happened to her. She began to smile and hold peace within herself as bad things had happened to her, but she's a better person from the struggle by them.
