Guilt

Ochako POV:

It's been about a week since the fight with Overhaul and the rescue of Eri. Thanks to Izu and his work as an interrogator, we were able to get information out of Monoma that he had set up everything from the kidnapping of Eri to the attack on the USJ. He even went out of his way to knowingly pick a fight he knew he wouldn't win to clear attention off of him. He's currently waiting on trial in Tartarus prison and is facing a life sentence for multiple counts of endangering the welfare of adults and children with conspiring with known criminals. For the most part, things went back to normal. "Ochako can you answer this question?" "Yes."

At least, that's what I want to say. "Nicely done, you can sit now." I sit and look over at Izu for a moment. Ever since the traitor was revealed, Izu hasn't been so talkative with our classmates. Not that I blame him, he was told to not trust them in fear one of them may be a traitor. He may have a rough outside, but he still feels some guilt as someone that did wrong to people that he should've given the benefit over doubt in his mind. I could tell he felt pain. He most likely feels as if he did wrong for our classmates and wants to fix it. '*sigh* I know how you feel Izu. But we had no choice but to hold suspicion on them. I'm just happy it wasn't one of our close friends for the kids sake.'

The afternoon Izuku POV:

Once we all changed and went to the USJ, we were met with a couple of people that we all knew. "Izuku, Ochako, good to see you again." "Mom, daddy!" Everyone started running to their parents and hugging them or giving their usual greetings. Kota and Eri stayed beside me in fear of the newer people they were seeing. "What's up you brats?" Aunt Mitsuki walks up and rubs mine and Kaachan's hair. "What the hell are you doing here you o-" I hit Kaachan over the head in an attempt to keep his mouth in line. "Kaachan. Children. Mouth." He realizes and  tries his comment again without swearing. "So why are you here?" "We were asked to." 'Asked to?'

"Today will be rescue operations with your parents being the disaster victims. Your objectives are to save them and incapacitate an opposing team in the process." Some people were confused why our parents were the ones in this exorcise. "Izuku, can you explain why you think your parents are here?" I think on it and realize instantly the reason. "Sometimes, you can't keep your family out of harms way. This is a scenario of that and that we need to keep a level head in case this happens. It's not a great thing to have happen, but it does happen." I kneel down and hug Eri and Kota knowing how they were brought into fights because of this as well. Ocha started to hug Izumi in her arms hearing this as well.

"Exactly. Sometimes this happens and our emotions get the better of us. Were heroes, but we are still human. Because of this, we need to be prepared for the worst outcomes and fight that. Now everyone line up and draw lots for your partners." Once the lots were drawn, I was paired with Jiro and Ocha was paired with Shiozaki. I felt a little guilt knowing that I had to deceive and not trust them, but I knew I had to keep that out for now. "Now for the first match. Team E will save with team H as the enemy." Me and Jiro were team E and fighting a mix of Kaachan, Todoroki, and Ida. "Team H has 5 minutes before Team E comes in and fights."

We went in front of the wildfire zone and started to make a plan. "So how good are you in fires?" "Good enough that I'm not at a disadvantage with them." I held a distant feel on me that Jiro caught on rather quickly. "Ok, what's wrong. You've been acting like this ever since the whole Monoma being a traitor thing happened. Is everything ok?" '*sigh* Not worth keeping the secret now.' "When I first got my pro hero license, Nezu asked me to work undercover for him to investigate the possibility of a traitor. For the last few months, I've been watching you all and studying your every actions to see if any of you could be one. I mistrusted you all thinking any one of you were the traitor and took your trust in me for granted. Now that the traitors caught, I feel sick to my stomach knowing that I doubted any of you."
