Izuku Midoriya and his wife Ochako (Uraraka) Midoriya have been married for 2 years and have 3 kids. 6 year old Eri Midoriya who was saved by Izuku on a way home, 5 year old Kota Izumi Midoriya who was saved by the couple and pushed to stay with the...
"Izuku, can I talk to you for a minute?" "Ok, but can it wait till we pick up the kids, you can come with if you want?" Todoroki nods and joins us to pick up the kids from mandalay. "Mommy/mom! daddy/dad! You were so cool out there!" I couldn't resist laughing at the excited faces of both Kota and Eri about our performance on the field so far. "Thank you for watching them. I hope they weren't too much of a handful with what went on today?" "Nonsense Izuku. In fact, all 3 of them were glued to the screen eager to see how you all would do today." I look at both mandalay's arms and down below me to see the kids smiling from ear to ear. "We would love to stay and chat, but if we don't get a move on soon we wont get lunch." "No worries Ochako, I understand. Also good luck to all 3 of you in the next round." I suddenly see Ocha start to frown a little knowing who she has to face off against. "Ocha, you ok?" "Oh yeah. Never been better." She puts on a smile to make me drop the subject, but deep down I know the truth. Shes uneasy and afraid of her next match.
I part ways with Ocha and the kids for a few minutes to talk to Todoroki. "So what is this about?" Todoroki just looks at me with cold eyes before talking. "Touya told you about my life when I was younger didn't he?" "Enough to know who he was talking about when you said he was your brother." I remember back to the conversation about how Todoroki was trained to the point it could be considered parental abuse from his father. Also the fact his left eye was burned by his mother who was forced into a quirk marriage by buying out her parents and finally cracked when he was 10 from the pressure. "I want to know something, how do you do it?" "Do what?" "How do you stay a kind and caring father to 3 kids and hold your own inner struggles in?" "It's not a matter of holding them in really. It's more like I use it as a means to keep pushing me forward." "I see, so you use your past as a means to push forward." As he says this, he looks at his left hand in slight disgust. "Must be easy to be able to look at your past and say you can push past something." "Todoroki, why don't you use your left side in battle? There was a number of incidences today where you could've gotten farther than you did today if you did. But you refused, why?" Todoroki now picks his head up and looks directly at me now. "Because I want to prove to my bastard father that I can be the best without his power. I will win this tournament with only my right half to prove I can do this on my own. And to do this, I will defeat you with only my right half." Todoroki walks away after saying this to leave me in my thoughts. 'Hes refusing half of who he is because he believes it's his father's power?' "*sigh* If things were that simple Todoroki, my father may still be in my life."
After lunch, I head to the designated seats for 1-A after tying up Kaminari and Mineta to a tree and letting the girls whack them like pinatas for making them wear cheerleader outfits. Finally, the last event is about to begin. "Ok you 3, daddy needs to go get ready so be good for everyone in the class ok?" "OK!"
"AND NOW FOLKS, THE FIRST MATCH OF OUR FINAL EVENT WILL COMMENCE! ON THE RIGHT WE HAVE THE KING OF DARKNESS AND PAIN HIMSELF, IZUKU MIDORIYA!" ' King of darkness and pain?' "AND ON THE LEFT, WE HAVE THE WALKING BRAIN ZAPPER HIMSELF, HITOSHI SHINSO!" 'Just gotta keep myself from talking to him.' "Competitors get ready, and begin!" I begin to run twards him to take him down. "I don't understand that monkey, what purpose does having a conscience have in real battle?" 'Don't speak.' "Then again, people like you never had to deal with the trouble of fitting in. You truly are blessed." '...You don't know how wrong that is.' "Your parents must have been so proud when you had your quirk first activate." I feel something snap in me when I hear this said.
