Doctor x Embalmer- Leave a promise

The match was gonna start, and Emily was fidgeting in her seat knowing Violetta was gonna be the hunter. She gulps as she watches the spider queen giggle and smirk at them from her seat up front.

Violetta, a VERY BALANCED hunter and was feared by many. Somehow, the law of nerfing does not apply to her, making her very deadly.

Aesop however, calmly sits beside the doctor, not even a pinch of fear while the others we're already trembling of suspense. He looks beside him to see Emily nervous. He stared at the girl before placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.

The gesture made Emily jump and look at the embalmer. "Hey... it's ok. I won't leave you," Aesop comforts, his mask covering a small smile. Emily's eyes widened, she nods as a reply and fixes her stature. "I won't leave you too," Emily whispers back.

A fog then appears, knocking every one unconscious.

Aesop was decoding as soon as he wakes up. Jamming the buttons, he heard a scream from Emma. "The hunter is near me!" Aesop quickly finishes his cipher, as well as hearing another one pop done. The only way to counter the spider queen, cipher rushing.

Aesop decided to put his coffin beside the gate, hoping the hunter won't notice it. He quickly remembered his promise and embalmed the doctor instead of using it on his self. Although he heard Emma go down, he knows the coordinator would save her so he didn't waste it.

After 4 ciphers, Emily heard her heart thump, signalling the hunter is near. She risked it, and decoded as fast as she can. The glowing got brighter, and as she finishes the cipher, Violetta was already behind her. She quickly ran. The hunter has detention. "Open the gate!" She screams.

"The gate is open!" Martha yells back. Emily ran into the exit, not wasting any time on the match. Emma ran to the exit's direction, hoping to reach it before the hunter does. Unfortunately, a red and black fog appeared, Violetta teleported. It made Martha run away into the exit, leaving Emily.

Emily, once again, risked it. She ran to the exit, hoping Violetta would miss the hit. "Emily don't!" Embalmer, who haven't left yet, yells. Emily didn't hear, continuing to run. Violetta swung.

And Aesop was hit.

The embalmer took the hit as Emily nears the gate. "Leave me!" He screams as he watches the hunter run to Emily.

The doctor didn't even move. She was determined to save him. It resulted to her being, well, hit as well. Violetta snickered and started finding a not broken rocket chair. Emma had been busy.

Aesop quickly started healing himself, thinking of a way to save them both. The coffin was on the other side of the map. But he was determined.

As soon as he got up, he ran to the exit, leaving Emily dumb founded. "You... promised..." she whimpers. Aesop looks back at her, mouthing a sentence; "Trust me."

Violetta then picked up the doctor, tying her on a balloon and carrying her to the rocket chair she had found, although it was a bit of a distance. But she knew that the doctor was a bit weak, so it doesn't really matter to her. Plus, she put down webs to speed her up.

She drops the girl on the chair, but as soon as she turns her back, she noticed the coffin's highlight, as well as the chair melting into a black muck.

"Oh that embalmer...." the hunter growls.

Aesop patiently waited for the doctor, he had already opened the gate and was going to exit with Emily. Emily gasps as she stumbles off the coffin, catching her breathe. She looks at Aesop and smiled "Thank you..." she jumps onto him, hugging the dude while Aesop had an expression of shock written on his face, but nonetheless hugged back a little.

"This is sweet and all... but I'm pissed and don't have that much time," Violetta, who had teleported to exit, groans as she blocks the way.

Emily gasps as Aesop moves forward to block Emily. "You go first, I'll make an entrance and kite her until you get out," He says. Emily looks at him in disbelief "B-but—"

"GO! NOW!" he yells, sending Emily off. Aesop quickly ran to a pallete area, beginning his kite.

2 minutes later, he was sure that Emily was already out, so he decided to run for it. Bad idea.

Violetta had camped the exit still, ambushing him. He fell to the ground with a loud thud as the spider queen cackles. "Trying to be a hero, boy? Aww... sadly heroes always die in the end," she laughs, tying him and walking to a rocket chair.

Aesop grins and spits on the hunter "You've already lost, Violetta." The hunter growls and walks towards a rocket chair. "Shut u—"

BANG!

A flare gun had hit the two, making Aesop fall down to the floor and hitting his face hard while the hunter frantically tries to bat away the fog. "GAHH!" she growls, swatting the dust from the gun away.

Aesop was then picked up, his arm slung over a shoulder as they ran. She looked to see the doctor, fully healed because of the syringe, running to the exit. "What are you doing here?!" he gasps. Emily smiles at him, "Keeping my promise."

Violetta had recovered, and started speeding towards them with angry eyes "I'll get you!" she roars.

Emily quickly legged it to the exit, until finally, they got out.

They watch as Violetta cries out in rage, cursing them as they run away to a safer distance.

Gasping, both of them slump down, kneeling and sitting of tiredness. "Are... you ok?" Emily asks, placing a hand on Aesop's face. The embalmer nods, making the Emily smiled and jump on him.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him as she whispers "Thank you... for saving me."

Aesop, although shocked, smiled and hugged back. "And thanks for not leaving me behind."
