I hate it here...
It's so cold...
And I don't know why I'm still here even...
Luckily, I have him to warm myself up.
"Y/N," The cold monotonous voice of Aesop called, making me look at him with a bright smile. "Hey Aesop!" I beamed, running up to him. I held my special silver locket, careful not to drop it. Aesop gave it to me when we first met, which was a few years back until everyone sort of.... forgot about me. Well, I was a big hit at one point. Inside contained a picture of me and him together.
He had his makeup kit with him, probably done from a match. Man, I missed taking matches! Sadly, host doesn't allow me anymore. And everyone apart from Aesop ignores me....
For a reason I already know.
He pulls down his mask, showing his pretty smile and pale face. I always thought he looked good. But he never believed me. I gently grabbed his hand, leading him to a beautiful flower patch. Emma must have been busy with these, they're so pretty!
I giggled, kneeling down and looking up at him. He stared at me softly, before kneeling down as well to check on them. His face is so close, and I felt myself blush, quickly looking away. I can't. We can't. I know that.
"I see you like the flowers?" A calm sweet voice called, making us both turn around to face Esther (y'all won't make me remove her period. Idc what you say) "They're really pretty, huh? Sadly, Emma won't even let me touch it," she pouted, before raising a camera. "Want a picture?" she asked as she pointed it to us.
Aesop gave me a look, before I nodded happily. I love taking pictures with him, even though I know he's uncomfortable, he always says yes. We both pose for the camera, a flash of light coming from the gadget. A polaroid picture came, Esther gently fanning it until the picture is clear. "You look really good, Aesop!" she beams.
Although, it made Aesop frown. Maybe because she didn't even compliment me. It's okay, I'm used to it. Every time me and Aesop takes pictures, they always compliment him and not me. But it's fine. It's true, anyways. Aesop always looks good!
Esther didn't show us the picture, as she froze and started sweating. She quickly went off after saying her goodbyes, leaving me and Aesop alone.
It's always like that, they froze up whenever they take pictures of us two. Yet, they always frame them and put it in my room. Which, is kind of dirty now since... I don't know.
Oh, I just remembered. Today is my last day. I have to go after this. Maybe it's time I tell the truth to him.

Aesop was looking around for Y/N, as he didn't see her the whole day. It was turning dark already, and she was still not seen. He was growing worried, not a clue to where she is.
Naib went and grabbed his shoulders. "Aesop, what's wrong?" he asked, to which replied with a worried look. "Y/N is gone," he answered, making the mercenary look at him confused. "Who...?"
Aesop broke. They ignored her. They don't acknowledge her in their picture. And they don't even let her join matches. And now, they don't even know her name.
He rasied his fist, and slammed it down Naib's face as hard as he can. "F*CK OFF!" he yelled, before running away. He went to the living room, finding everyone but Esther there. "HAVE YOU SEEN Y/N?!" he yelled, catching everyone's attention.
"Y/N.... who?" Vera asked. And everyone, looked confused who this Y/N person was. No idea who Aesop was desperately calling for.

Esther had the photo in her hand, entering the host's room. "Mom?" she called, looking at the ravenette girl. "What is it, dear?" Krazi hummed, watching the girl come closer.
The musician went and set the photo down on her desk, pointing at a white-f/c mist beside Aesop. It appears to be a figure of a h/l person. It was faint, but a face can also be seen within the misty figure. "What's that?"
Krazi froze, tears welling up her blue eyes. "Y/N...."
**********
It was 12 am, and Aesop was still up. He won't give Y/N up and was still searching for her. He sighed, sitting on her dusty bed. He kinda wondered why it's so dirty in her room. And actually, he barely comes in here anyways.
His eyes landed on the photos displayed on the desk. He can tell it was their pictures. Aesop picked one up, before chuckling as he checked the pictures. Then, he realized something.
Y/N was not in the picture.
A knock on the window stole his attention. He quickly looked to see Y/N with a smile. Aesops quickly got out the window, too happy to see her to even get out using the door.
"Y/N—" The girl stopped him by pressing her index finger on his lip, before grabbing his hand. Then he noticed something; they were at the garden. "Y/N, what are you doing here so late at the night?" he asked in a hushed tone, to which the girl replied with a giggle.
She led him to a tree, where a large hole was freshly dugged on underneath it's leaves. Y/N turned to look at him, before smiling. "Come on, let's hang out," she said, before jumping into the hole.
Aesop hesitated, before following behind and jumping down. They sat on the hole quietly, letting the silence engulf them.
After awhile, Y/N sighed, removing her locket around her neck and placing it on her. She then held hands with Aesop, locking the necklace with both of their hands. "I'm tired... aren't you too, Aesop?" she asked, leaning her head on his shoulder.
Aesop chuckled, leaning close to her as well. "Yeah... I love you, Y/N," he mumbled, before falling asleep. Y/N smiled, before tears started streaming down her face. "I love you too, Aesop."

The survivors were up from 1 till 5, looking for Aesop as he was reported gone the whole morning. Everyone was frantically looking around, until they decided to ask Krazi.
"What's the date today?" she asked, yawning loudly. "The 16th or March," Tracy answered, making Krazi's eyes wide. "He's at the garden."
Everyone quickly went and started searching at the said place, until a shriek was heard. The survivors quickly went to where Vera was, and gasped at the sight.
They found Aesop. And someone else.
The embalmer was sleeping with a girl. Her pale s/c skin was rotting, and had maggots crawling around. Her h/l h/c hair was dishevelled, and her clothes were tainted with dirt. In their hands, were seem to be a silver locket, still shiny and obviously taken care off. And, oddly enough, she was smiling.
And then everyone realized who it was.
"Y/N."
**********
A week later, the body was further autopsied and found out to be Y/N L/N, a survivor that was included in the first batch of players in the manor. Cause of death: buried alive by her own teammates.
She had haunted Aesop, and had only found out she was dead when she saw the pictures of her and Aesop in her room. She wasn't in any of those, except for a mist.
Aesop didn't get over it quickly. But soon learned how to recover as he watch her body be properly buried at the same tree. He opened his hand, seeing the locket. He can barely remember her name. But thankfully, he remembered her face.
He opened up the locket, seeing a picture of her and only her. It was black and white, yet it showed how beautiful she actually was. "I love you, Y/N," he mumbled, before leaving her room, locking it forever with all the pictures inside.
