When you're on your period

You feel yourself starting to wake up. Then it hits you, cramps. You sighed ready to get up and go to the bathroom to get a pad. You pull yourself out of Bobby's grip and slip on your slides.

You go into the bathroom and open your cabinet to see you have no pads. You rolled your eyes and mentally slapping yourself for not getting any.

You go back into your room and turn on the light to get dressed to go buy some pads. You turn your head when you see Bobby get up.

"Baby where you going at 1 in the morning?" He said with his morning voice.

"I don't have pads and I need them." He walked over to you and back hugged you.

"I'll get them for you, go lay back down." You shook your head.

"No I got it Bobby" he grabbed both of your hands.

"I said I'll get it, now go lay back down." You weren't gonna complain anymore.

"Okay okay, just get the ones that say always and maxi." You had always needed maxi because of how heavy you were.

"Okay baby, now go lay back down. I know you must have cramps." You smiled at how much he knew you.

"I'll be back y/n, love you"

"Love you too" You smiled

The thing was, when Bobby got to the store, he did not know what he was looking for. He was walking down the isle of pads and tampons and was confused.

"What's the difference between regular ones and sports ones?" He shook his head in confusion. He then remembered what you told him to get.

"Always brand maxi. Where is that at?" He looked over to the ones that said Maxi. It was four types that said Maxi.

"It's like 4 different ones that say Maxi, it's overnight ones and regular ones. What the heck I'm so confused..." he put his hands through his hair.

He turned to his right and saw an old lady looking at him weirdly.

"It's for my girlfriend." She awkwardly nodded her head and picked up some adult diapers and walked out the isle.

"There's diapers too? What the-" he was interrupted by a women.

"Need some help?" He looked over to her and nodded his head.

"For your sister I'm guessing?" She smiled at him. He rolled his eyes already knowing what this lady was on.

"My girlfriend actually, she needs Maxi, I just don't know which ones to get." The women's facial expression changed when he said girlfriend.

"Oh um, get overnight, most likely if she needs maxi she needs one that lasts a little while. Here you go." She handed him the package of pads.

"Thank you ma'am." He walked over to the cash register. It was an old lady at the cashier.

"$6.89" he handed her the money.

"You must be such a sweet husband to buy your wife pads." She smiled.

"Thank you ma'am, have a nice day." He smiled.

"Husband, I like the sound of that, soon." he thought to himself getting into the car.

You heard the front door open. You had thought Bobby got lost because of how long he was gone.

You saw him walk through the door with 2 bags. You were confused as to why he had two bags.

"Hey baby, I got you the pads you needed and I got you some Chinese food. I figured you'd be a little hungry." You smiled at his nice gesture.

"Thank you baby" you got up to hug him and he kissed you.

"The lady at the register thought I was a husband getting his wife some pads. I should probably make that reality soon." Your heart stopped for a second. You looked at him.

"Bobby, now you know I get emotional on my period and you tell me that." He looked at you almost laughing.

"Baby I'm sorry, but it will happen soon. You know I love you."

"I love you more" you said.

"I love you more" he responded back.

"We are not about to do this." You both laughed.
