Birthday chaos

It was Kyungsoo's birthday and you wanted to do something special. Things you guys could do was limited since you were 9 months pregnant ready to pop.

You were decorating the house while he was out at practice. You wanted to put something on the walls but you weren't gonna risk you and your baby getting hurt so you just decorated what you could reach.

By time you were done decorating the house looked so pretty, full of happy birthday balloons and a "happy birthday Kyungsoo" poster on the lower part of the wall.

You had already picked up the cake and it was in the fridge, you were excited for Kyungsoo to get back home.

20 minutes later

You heard the front door open and you quickly walked to it greeting Kyungsoo.

"Happy birthday baby!" You said, he looked towards you and smiled. He closed the door and hugged you, making sure not to put on much pressure on your stomach.

"Baby, Thank you, you didn't have to do this you know that right?" You shrugged your shoulders.

"So I wanted to-" you were cut off by a jolt of pain going through your lower stomach, contractions.

"Y/n baby, are you okay?" He said grabbing my arms.

"Yeah I'm fine, I just got contractions, it's normal I just didn't expect for that to happen." He said nodding his head.

"Soo you ready for some cake?" You said smiling. He smiled back and you leaded him into the kitchen to the birthday cake you bought for him. You quickly lit the candles so he could make his wish.

"Happy birthday Kyungsoo" he smiled at you before blowing out the candles. You went over to the cabinet to grab a clean knife when you felt it.

Your water just broke. You looked down at your leg noticing the liquid flowing down it.

"Baby, my water just broke" you said trying to say calm. Kyungsoo rushed over to you seeing the liquid now getting on the floor.

"Oh shoot, um I'll go get the hospital bag, wait right here okay?" You nodded and he ran up the stairs to our unborn child's room. You saw him come back downstairs with 3 bags in his arms.

"I grabbed your phone and some extra chargers too, so let's go." He ran towards the door leading to the garage and out the bags in the trunk. He then came back to you and slowly helped you to the car.

He tried to quickly get to the hospital without getting a ticket, so he took a bunch of back roads. He occasionally looked over to you guessing you must've been having bad contractions.

"Baby, I'm excited." You spoke softly.

"I'm excited too, I'm ready to find out the gender, but I really don't care if it's girl or boy, either way I'm going to love them unconditionally." Kyungsoo looked over to you seeing you smile.

You arrived to the hospital and got your room quickly. The nurses were informing us that you didn't need a c-section. Other than that they were giving you shots and numbing medicine.

They realized you were close to 7 centimeters dialed and your contractions were getting so bad that you couldn't talk, so it was time.

Kyungsoo was standing on the right side of you while holding your hand.

"Okay Y/n I need you to give me a big push okay?" You nodded your head and pushed.

After close to 45 minutes of pushing and being in pain, your baby was finally born.

"It's a girl!" The doctor said. Kyungsoo walked over to the nurses and baby and they let him cut the cord. Seeing your child, made Kyungsoo start to tear up, this has been the best blessing he'd got since meeting you.

The doctors cleaned her up and wrapped her and quickly gave her to you to get the skin to skin connection quickly. You were patting her gently to help her stop crying. You looked at Kyungsoo, and smiled.

"She's finally here" Kyungsoo kisses your lips then kissed your daughters head gently.

"You know Y/n it's funny because my wish for my birthday was for our baby to be born and she was." You looked at him and laughed.

"Wow what a coincidence." You said laughing, you looked down at your child again and noticed how much she looked like Kyungsoo. He sat on the side of the bed and hugged you and the baby. You hadn't noticed Kyungsoo gave a doctor his phone to take a picture. The doctor gave him his phone back and he mouthed a thank you to the doctor.

"I love you Y/n, and our babygirl."

This was rushed so if there are any mistakes or anything that doesn't make since sorry!!
