Concealed World pt 2

I slowly opened my eyes looking at the ceiling. Like a snap, all of the memories from yesterday came flooding back in, and the on edge feeling I had before going to bed resurfaced.

I sat up rubbing my eyes. I stopped and I saw a figure in front of me, my eyes slowly started to focus and I saw who it was.

"What do you want with me?" It was him again, Jungkook.

There was no response, I slowly moved over to the lamp on the side of my bed and turned it on. When I looked back over, the figure I'd thought was Jungkook was gone.

"I'm going crazy." I grabbed my phone and looked at the time, 8:20.

"Crap" I thought to myself. I have a meeting at 9. I quickly jumped in and out the shower and started getting dressed for work.

I ran out the door and into my car checking the time again. 8:44. I go to start my car and I drive off. Luckily my job is less than 10 minutes away so I made it on time.

"GoodMorning Jisoo." I looked at the desk and she smiled and nodded back.

I walked into the office and saw all of my coworkers sitting at the table. I quickly took my seat and we all waited for the lieutenant.

10 minutes had passed and he still wasn't there. Everybody starting talking and wondering where the lieutenant was. I excused myself and walked to the front desk.

"Hey Jisoo, do you know where the lieutenant is?" She shook her head no.

"I haven't seen him since last night when is cousin came and picked him up." I nodded my head.

"Cousin? The lieutenant drives himself to and from work." I thought to myself. I decided to go out to the garage, where the lieutenant and only the lieutenant parks.

I opened it and the lieutenants car was sitting right there. Something wasn't right.

"Looking for someone?" I turned around hearing a voice. It was the lieutenant.

"Oh GoodMorning lieutenant. I was just looking for you-"

"You know better than to be here in this garage, back into the building!" Because of your respect and the fact you don't wanna loss your job, you kept your mouth closed and walked away.

2 hours later

The meeting was full of tension. Everyone noticed how he was acting different. The lieutenant never acts this uptight. He usually makes sure we're comfortable in our own work place, so the fact that he's acting like this was abnormal.

I sat in my office going over another missing persons case.

"Kim Yugyeom. Last seen at his home with his wife and daughter." I felt bad for his wife and daughter.

I decided to head to their home. I needed more information.

I watched as she walked down the sidewalk. I headed inside the station and shot the lady at the front desk a glare and she froze.

I walked into the main office and I saw officers with their guns up at me.

"I would lower your guns if I were you all." I said looking at each person in their eyes. They all lowered their guns and stood there.

I walked into the lieutenants office and he was sitting at his desk.

"Yugyeom, how do you like your new body?" He looked up at me and frowned.

"It's definitely a downgrade from my last one but I'll make it work. What happened to the guy who owns this body?" I laughed.

"Let's just say, he let greed get to him. So now he's dead." Yugyeom shook his head.

"You didn't have to hypnotize all the detectives, you're gonna confuse them." I rolled my eyes.

"I'm the boss here, I know what I'm doing. Now fix this mess. I gave you the power to do it." I said before leaving the office.

I got into my car and started driving. I couldn't help but to past the detective walking. I got out of my car and started to follow her.

Since the family's home wasn't too far, I decided to walk. I was walking down the side walk and I felt a presence behind me. I stopped and turned around.

Nothing was there. I really don't know why my dumb self continues to walk alone after yesterday.

I felt a presence behind me and I saw Jungkook. I couldn't move, my legs were stuck and they were turning into Jelly. I started to feel myself lose balance and like lightning, Jungkook was behind me helping me up.

"Get off of me! You psycho." He laughed.

"Psycho is an understatement. Anyways, where you heading." He was questioning me like this was normal.

I pulled him by his arm over to the side in an alley.

"What are you?" He looked in my eyes and his eyes became red again.

"Whatever you want me to be" He said, in a different voice then he usually speaks with.

"Gone, I want you gone but we can't always get what we want can we?" He smiled.

"I don't know why you act like this towards me, I'm not gonna hurt you, I promise." He smiled.

"What do you want with me? You won't leave me alone." He looked curious.

"I don't know, something is interesting about you. I need to find out what it is." I rolled my eyes.

"This isn't Twilight, we aren't gonna be curious about each other and then fall in love. Leave me alone and stay away from me and let me do my job." I tried walking away and he gently pulled me back.

"No can do beautiful. I need a favor, and maybe I'll let you go." I looked at him giving him no reaction. He then sighed.

"Quit your job, and I'll leave you alone." I looked at him and started to walk away.

"I won't leave you alone until you comply Y/n" While walking I gave him the finger and walked down the street.
