unexpected

Chapter 16

She was sitting up watching tv. She looked at me like she was mad, sad, and confused at the same time. I couldn't blame her though. She said,

Sophie: I told you I don't know who you are please get out of my room.

I started walking towards her and she pushed herself up in her bed.

Payton: it's ok we are best friends and the people that you saw yesterday are also your best friends too...

Sophie: "ok but how do I know your not lying?"

She said looking down at something that looked like a locket in her lap.

I was really wondering what was inside of it and maybe that would bring back memories but I wasn't going to force anything upon her. I then showed her a picture of all of us together and showed her herself in the picture.

Sophie: ok so apparently I do know you but I don't know you now

I then sat in a chair that was by her bed and looked at her with a smile. She looked at me like I was a little crazy but ok.

Sophie: so tell me about yourself then. I mean if I know you I have to know you first.

Payton: right so I'm Payton. Payton Moormeier to be specific. I live in North Carolina with my mom, Joanne and my older sister, Faith. I have two dogs and my sister has a bird. The bird's kinda annoying though but aside from that...

She giggled a little. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen. She is beautiful. Shit Payton remember she's not in her normal state of mind. This is not her. Be patient. She will be back soon.

About an hour later, we were still talking and everyone else came in the room. 

Chase: woah wait how is she not to frightened?

Payton: chill. I showed her a picture of all of us together.

They all introduced themselves to her again then it got to Dylan. We could all tell he was having a hard time with it. He said,

Dylan: hi, I'm..

Then out of nowhere she said...

Sophie: Dylan Hartman. I know! Your my brother silly. We've known each other our whole lives.

We all were shocked. I looked at her and smiled.

~Sophie's POV~

They all introduced themselves to me then this blonde kid in the back looked really familiar. He got to introducing himself and I knew who he was. My brother. I told him that and everyone looked shocked. That Payton kid smiled the biggest and it was kinda funny.

When She said his name we all were shocked. She looked at all of us like we were crazy and laughed a little. Her laugh was so cute. I miss it. Damn it! Pay attention Payton. It's not her. We have to get her back to herself.

But my best friend was starting to remember who I was again.
