Elijah

I realized this was not your average game of spin the bottle, not that I had much experience with the activity but something told me that when the girl across from me had to remove an article of clothing and the girl next to her had to give someone a hickey and the guy next to her gave me a lap dance, that this was just a little more intense. I had to adapt fast because only four people went before it was my turn

The crowd erupted into a little fit of commentary while Demetrius eyes glinted with wonder and excitement. "Alright little lady, you're up."

I crossed my fingers in my lap and prayed for something easy, something that wouldn't turn into a big enough mess to be talked about tomorrow at school, or ever for that matter.

Something simple.

I spinned the bottle and it went around and around before finally stopping, pointing at Taylen. I took a deep breath. At least it wasn't a complete stranger. And he looks clean, like he takes a shower at least once a day. And he's pretty attractive. I can work with this.

I smiled and he smirked at me. He gave me a smooth wink and I could tell he was interested. Hell they were all interested. It was weird having this attention. The boys attention was particularly unusual. No one ever paid me any mind, definitely not boys.

I spinned the bottle attached to the game board once again and we all watched as it went around and around.

Something simple. Something simple. Something simple.

The bottle stopped.

Kiss anywhere, it read.

I exhaled a deep breath that I hoped didn't look as visible as it felt. A simple kiss on the cheek would easily suffice.

Everyone's eyes darted to me and again I felt someone's gaze that was much harsher than the rest. I didn't want to look but I did it anyway, I met Noah's eyes. He still had the girl in his lap. His eyes were cold but they weren't emotionless anymore. They were still and sharp, piercing into mine with a fury. He was..warning me.

But it wasn't like a hey watch out or be careful kind of warning it was more like a don't you dare kind of warning. And it angered me. This asshole has the fucking nerve to make out with a girl in my face but the second I have to kiss someone for a game it's all of this.

Fuck him.

I turned to Taylen and smashed my lips into his, thanking God that I couldn't detect an ounce of alcohol on his breath. In an instant I felt his hand on my waist and a series of "Whoo"s and "Hell yeah!"s around us.

My adrenaline vibrated through my blood stream with purpose and my heart hammered in my chest.

I broke the kiss and Taylen looked extremely taken back as he flashed his Colgate worthy teeth at me, making my cheeks warm. "Geez Reef, want to take my clothes off next?"

Noah stood up abruptly, pushing the girl off him, resulting in a "What the fuck?" from her. Instead of an acknowledgement he directed his cold fiery gaze to Demetrius. "I'm playing." He grunted, and he pushed his way in between Taylen and myself.

"Noah.." I warned through grilled teeth.

"No dude we already started." Demetrius said, his eyes lingering on the nonexistence space between Noah and I. I did my best not to bump into the girl next to me. Her name was Sydney and she looked extremely fond of her personal space. It threw me for a loop considering the game we we're playing.

"I said I'm playing." Noah snapped. And Demetrius dropped it but Sydney didn't.

"Why?" She quizzed, her dark brown eyebrow shooting up as she looked at Noah. "You never play."
