Theme: Shadowhunter au. Mingi is a shadowhunter and falls for a mundane, aka you. This is inspired from Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments Series.

**When you first met him, he had his arms covered with these completely strange black markings. He looked like danger and trouble combined to make the beauty that is Song Mingi. He ran pass you and in the process bumped you off your feet. You yelled at him to watch where he was going, and then he looked at you as if you were insane.

That was the first memory you shared with Mingi. He said something about you having the sight and carried on his way when another man called his name. That's when you first learned about the wonders that are shadowhunters. Mingi was the first to open your eyes to the reality of the world you live in.

A little later that week, you encountered something, for lack of words, strange. It was as if a monster invaded your home and trashed everything you cared about. The pictures of your lost family members were all tattered and shredded. Glass was everywhere as well as pieces of furniture that you didn't value before. And then you spotted him, standing in your living room with a look of wonder on his face.

Mingi looked as if he couldn't believe he saw the same girl that could see him. "What the hell are you doing here?" you spat at him with anger although it wasn't specifically towards him. He frowned and looked around him as if you were not talking to him. You wanted to punch the shit out of the cocky bastard. "I'm talking to you, leather jacket."

He gripped at his jacket and inspected it in his fingertips. He grinned and then directed the beam to you. Your fist was so close to going into his jaw. "Oh, me? It's fascinating!"

You asked him "what" as you slowly back away from him to grab a weapon, anything. "That you can see me, of course, and don't grab that bat behind the couch. I know you more than you know yourself."

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" He didn't answer your question he just, step by step, approached you with ease. You tried to back away but you couldn't, you were stuck. Something was constricting you from moving as Mingi reached out for you cheek. You tensed at the sudden contact but then something flashed before your eyes. Everything turned black.

••

You awoke to the sound of metal ripping off of something. It made you cringe when you opened your eye to blinding sunlight. You then spotted him, Mingi, again in his natural element, or what you thought was his element. He held a sword, it was glowing a godly light and was making a weird noise as he willed it to move. Left and right he moved it and you were intrigued at the motion.

When you sat up in the bed, which caused him to stop his movements and whip around to look at you. Your eyes connected with his and a gummy smile grew on his face. He was adorable now that you are looking at the details of his face.

"Good, you're awake," the sword in his hands detracted in itself and the glow ceased. He placed the weapon on a table located near him and approached you slowly. "I was beginning to wonder if you ever would."

"Where the hell am I? Why did you take me? What happened to my home?" Too many questions circled your mind as Mingi began to move even closer than before. You stuck your hand out as if to signal him to stop, he didn't.

"Look, demons are after you. I took you with me so you were protected by the Institute of Seoul," he said. When he got close enough, he sat on the edge of the bed. The soothing tone in his deep voice made you feel comfortable. You felt his hand caress your cheek, and you heaved a sigh, closing your eyes. The feeling that you knew him surfaced your mind. "God, you're a lot more beautiful than I remember."

You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion at his vague words. Have you met before? "Do I know you," you had to ask him. And the look that over-crossed his features told you how right you were. His words, however, we the complete opposite of his look. "No, this is my first time meeting you."

You knew he was lying and maybe, just maybe, you'd have to stick around to find out that lie.
