I Think I Want To Marry You

"Are you wearing that?" Ricky asked as he sat on the bed in just a towel after his shower.

I looked down at my leggings and strap top. "No! Ew, I don't have the arse for this." I sighed.

"Oh I think you do." he grinned. "You've got a peachy little bum. I'm going to have a shave. I'll make sure you have lots of smooth kisses."

I giggled as he patted my bottom on his way back to the bathroom. While he was there I finished doing my make up and put my hair up. I was doing a braided style to keep my hair out of the way. The humid weather had made my hair so frizzy that it felt like it was always in the way. Birds might start nesting in it any day now.

"Hi." Ricky purred in my ear as he wound his arms around me from behind. I tensed up with a flashback from last night. "It's just me. I'm not going to hurt you."

I relaxed when I reminded myself I was safe with him. "Sorry, had a flashback." I frowned.

"Don't apologise, it's my fault. I should have thought before I did it. Sorry." he said. "Can I kiss you?"

He hardly ever asked before he kissed me and usually just lunged straight in. I nodded in approval. He kissed softly behind my ear. We caught each other's eye in the mirror and smiled. A smile of trust.

He kissed down the back of neck and onto my shoulders making the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I sighed with pleasure and put a hand out on the wall to steady myself. I was getting weak at the knees already and didn't think falling face first into a mirror an hour before my brother's wedding was a good idea.

Then someone knocked on the door. Damn it!

"Just a second." I called as we pulled apart.

"I should get dressed." he mumbled.

"Me too." I said.

I went to the wardrobe and took my dress off the hanger. It was floor length and dark blue with daisies all over it. It was just perfectly between smart and casual, just right to wear for a daytime wedding and the evening party. I always felt spinning and twirling around in it so the skirt would flow out. Ricky was doing up his shirt when I returned to the bedroom.

"Can you zip me up?" I asked.

He obliged and kissed me at the base of my neck when he'd finished.

"I'd rather unzip you." he whispered and patted my bottom.

I giggled as I headed to the door. He couldn't keep his hands to himself this afternoon.

"You look so handsome!" I greeted my brother at the door.

He was wearing his olive green three piece suit with a white shirt and green tie. Saying it was olive green never sounded stylish but it was such a cool suit and he always looked so handsome in it.

"You're too cool!" Ricky called from further into the room as he peaked around the corner.

"Thanks!" Mike laughed. "I need help with my button hole. I need your girly fingers."

He handed me a white rose and gestured to his jacket lapel. I fiddled about for a bit until I got it through the little hole and then pinned the stem down with a safety pin.

"There you go! Are you ready?" I asked. He nodded. "I just need to put my shoes on. Rick's running behind. Come in." I gestured.

"Red or blue tie?" Ricky asked from the bedroom.

"Red." We both answered.

"Dad's wearing blue. Red'll be different. Do a double Windsor if you can. It looks more even and smart." Mike added.
