After a day of silliness and music we all sat down with food on various benches near each other. It was an attempt at a band meal. The girls were getting tired and grumpy from a long day of excitement. I was pretty tired too.

It had stopped raining in the afternoon and it was now incredibly hot. Almost too hot for England.

The band would be onstage at 8pm so after our meal they'd head to their dressing room to get ready. The girls were almost falling asleep on their feet as they headed off to their beds. They were sharing a tent near us. Our tents were all grouped together in a little huddle. Maybe you could call it Kaiser Chiefs village.

"Auntie Juliette?" Anita asked before they headed off to bed.

"What is it darling?" I asked.

"Can you tuck me in tonight?" she asked.

"Aw! I'd love to! Ask mummy though." I told her. We looked over at her mum who smiled and nodded. "Come on then!"

I picked her up and balanced her on my hip. Before we headed off Ricky got up to kiss me.

"You look so good with a toddler in your arms. So natural." he whispered in my ear. "One day it'll be our own."

I grinned blissfully. "Yes! Soon!" I whispered and kissed him back. "I'll see you backstage, yeah? Love you."

"Love you too gorgeous!" he grinned.

Little Anita was asleep on my shoulder before we got to their tent. I put her down on the bed and took her Wellingtons off. She looked so peaceful.

"We should wake her to brush her teeth." her mum, Rani, told me.

"But she looks so cute!" I replied.

"You need to brush your teeth baby." Rani told Anita as she woke her.

"Sleepy." Anita grumbled.

We took the girls to the nearby bathroom block to brush their teeth and go to the loo before bed. I brushed my teeth as well and put some lipstick on while the girls were busy. We went back to their tent and put their pyjamas on and then tucked them into bed. I kissed them both on the forehead and whispered good night after their mums kissed them. They were both asleep already, as soon as their heads touched their pillows.

The mums talked to the nanny outside the tent before we left and then we headed back to see our husbands or fiancée on stage. It was starting to get dark as we walked to the stage where they'd be performing in about an hour.

"Surely you're too young to remember the band in their early days." Natasha, Whitey's wife asked as we walked.

"No, I was a spotty teenager with braces and big hair when the first album was out. I can remember one of my friends at college had his nose pierced and wore eyeliner because he thought it would make him cool like Ricky. Not many guys can look good with a nose stud." I replied.

"Oh my god, I remember the nose stud! He still had it when I met Andrew!" Natasha laughed. "I thought he was such a weirdo. Guys don't look good with a nose piercing!"

"You know I used to think Rick was gay cose of that make up and piercing just cose the friend at college was gay. Turns out I was very wrong about that!" I laughed. "Our Rick defiantly isn't gay!"

"You'd know!" they laughed.

We were still laughing together when we got backstage, earning us a few strange looks.

"What are you lot laughing about?" Ricky asked. "You sound like a load of chickens clucking away."

"Just laughing about you lot." I sighed and kissed him on the cheek. "We're sharing silly stories about our men."
