Freya

I wake up, the way too bright morning sun beaming through my large bedroom window alerting me that it's rise and shine time in new York City. I let out a long sigh as I rest my arms around Chester over my floral comforter and stare up at my star sticker covered ceiling before me. I have a headache from last night, but I really don't know why. All I can say was yesterday was very...interesting to say the least. Cole coming over and us actually have a civil moment was the last thing I expected to happen. He laughed...I laughed, an actual laugh this time, snort and all. Again it was...interesting. The last thing I remember was us going over to Cole's apartment looking for something. But what were we looking for? I turn my head to the left, examining the large window displaying the city, before turning over and looking at my night stand which is holding....alcohol? Alcohol? My eyes instantly grow wide as my body shoots up in a rush from its laying position, sitting up. Alcohol!

"Rise and shine sleepyhead—." My head shoots in the direction of the person who comes screaming into my room, and once I do, I instantly fall out of my bed in surprise, cutting them off mid-scream. Please don't let it be true. Please don't let him, out of all people, be in my apartment right now...shirtless. I roll over from my side and onto my back on the floor. I hear a slight chuckle erupt from him and I glare even though I know he can't see me. Slowly I peal my body from the concert floor and slightly peek my eyes above my mattress to answer my question. Crap!

"Uh oh, Annie down! Annie down!" Cole mocks, obviously holding back his laughter. This time, I glare at Cole where he can see, as I stand up from the ground and dust off my knees. "Impressive fall, Annie. Might want to try for a softer landing next time though."

"What the hell are you doing here?" I scream but then I instantly remember he doesn't have a shirt on so I avert eye contact.. "And what the hell happened to your shirt?" I hear Cole chuckle again, and I look up at him, trying my best not to look at his sculptured torso. I would be lying if I said he didn't have a very magnificent build. With his tanned abs, veiny forearms complimented by his bulging biceps. I almost let out an accidental whimper once I see that his sweats are hanging dangerously low, causing his formed v-line to show as well. What the hell am I thinking right now? This is Cole we're talking about. Cole!

"I'm not surprised you don't remember. It's quite expected actually," Cole finally says. I tilt my head to the side out of confusion and also a little bit of concern. That is until I notice the glass in his large hand.

"It's coconut water," Cole answers, obviously noticing my staring. "I found it in your fridge. And according to doctors orders, apparently it's the best medicine." Cole walks over to me, extending out his arm to hand me the glass. My mind over flows from memories of the night that Cole first came stumbling into my apartment asking for sugar. The next morning I gave him coconut water to help him with his hangover. Hangover...hangover? I look between the glass and him for a couple of seconds, before giving in and finally taking it but still making curious eye contact with him. Did I drink last night? And if so, how much? I bring the rem of the cold glass to my lips, and slurp a small sip of the white liquid. The so called medicine instantly soothes something inside me, and I'm instantly thankful for the fact that I always keep the fridge stocked with coconut water for Becca and her hangovers. I take another sip, followed by another, followed by another until the glass is almost completely empty. I look up at Cole, who is already grinning, clearly amused by my state of urgency to gulp down this drink. I wipe some remaining coconut water with the back of my hand, before handing the now empty glass to Cole.

"Cole," I say as he takes the glass. "What happened?"

"Do you have the camera ready?" she asks me and I nod my head once as I hold my phone in my right hand to capture the shot.
