"Ahh Tris help! He's got me!" I hear Tobias shout from Riley's room. Setting my curling iron on the counter, I leave our bathroom and bedroom and walk into Riley's. I poke my head into the room to see Tobias holding up our son in a dinosaur costume. Today is Halloween, and the three of us are going as Drs. Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler, and the T-Rex from Jurassic Park.

"He looks terrifying," I comment, stepping into the room and holding my arms out for Tobias to hand him over. Two days ago, Riley turned two months old. He's growing too fast, I need it to stop. Also, the baseball season is over, so Tobias is pretty much free to spend all of him time with us.

I hold Riley against my chest, pressing a kiss to his head. Out of the corner of my eye, I notice Tobias taking his phone out of his pocket to take a picture of Riley and I, but I don't really pay any attention to it.

Soon, the three of us are buckled in the car and on our way to Zeke and Shauna's house. Riley is asleep within the first few minutes of our drive, and I'm thankful because I doubt he'll get much sleep during this party. It'll be just our small group of friends, but considering Uriah is a part of that group, who knows what's going to happen.

Tobias and I decided that we would probably only stick around for about 30 minutes and then head over to my parents' house. Caleb and Amanda are going to be there with the twins for a little while before they take them trick-or-treating. Tobias parks right next to Zeke's car in the driveway of the house, since we are the first ones here. He turns the car off and grabs Riley out of his carseat as I grab the bag from the backseat.

Zeke and Shauna greet us with hugs once we walk through the door, and Shauna steals Riley from Tobias.

"Chloe is down too, Riley can sleep next to her if you're okay with that," she suggests, swaying with my son in her arms.

"That would be awesome," I agree, and follow her up the stairs to Chloe's room. Shauna lays Riley next to a sleeping Chloe, and I smile as I watch their tiny little chests move with their breaths. "I could watch them all day," I admit, setting my diaper bag by the door.

"Ugh, me too. They're so adorable," she responds. "C'mon, they'll be out for awhile, let's go have fun." Shauna makes sure the baby monitor next to the crib is on before we leave the room, leaving the door open just a crack.

Once we get downstairs, we head into the kitchen, where we find our husbands and Lynn. She must've gotten here while she were in Chloe's room. I move toward Tobias and snake my arms around his torso. His hands cup my head as he leans down to kiss me. I savor the kiss, leaning into him. Tobias is the one who pulls back, brushing my hair behind my ear. So I lean my head against his chest, as he wraps an arm around me.

We hang out for awhile, waiting for the whole group to get here. Marlene and Uriah are the next ones to arrive, dressed up as a Dalmatian and a fireman, followed closely by Will and Christina, wearing Ross and Rachel costumes.

Soon enough, the beer gets broken out, Shauna, Mar and I being the only ones opting for something other than alcohol. Marlene, Uriah, Christina, Will, and Lynn are all heading to a little more exciting party later on, and I think Mar is the voluntold designated driver.

Eventually, a game of beer pong is started, and I keep making eye contact with Tobias, trying to remind him that we are going my parents' house later and he does not need to drink a ton right now. Much to my relief, he ends up not drinking very much, as he and Zeke are a lot better than Will and Christina. Will teases his fiancée every so often, pleading for a new partner. Tobias and Zeke decide to not play the next game, so Uriah and Lynn take on Will and Christina, and this game will no doubt have a similar outcome as the last. Tobias crosses the room to me, pecking my lips before standing behind me so he can watch the game. He then envelopes me into his arms, and I melt back into his embrace.
