Izuku walked through the alley way tunnel on his way back from school, avoiding the regular route, 'I don't have time to fix anymore bruises', when a gurgling sound came from near by. He looked left and right but only saw a sewer a little ways off. He began to walk off when a marvelous idea came to his mind.

'Look up.'

So he did.

Thaank you paranoia.

Above him was this murky brown sludge, slithering down the side of the tunnel. Two big, disgusting, yellow eyes were staring right at him. "Ah, what a nice looking young boy."

Midoriya walked a lot faster.

"No come back, I need a meat suit until we pass All Might. Then I'll just kill you so you can't lead them to my trail."

Izuku felt his senses overload as the familiar fear of danger screamed inside his gut. His legs wanted to run, but they were frozen in place. His breathe circulation was meek, open only to little random puffs. He began to tremble.

"That's right, just hold still. This won't hurt," it said, closing the distance between them, "Me."

The goop pounced and forced his mouth open, trickling it's way into his body. He couldn't breathe at all now as the realization hit him. He was going to die. He was going to die. His lungs burned with the need for oxygen.

With all his might, he struggles to claw away the sludge in futile attempts. Only to have whatever he did scrape off come right back. It felt like a thousand needles were in his skin. Not digging inwards, but squeezing out of every pore or crack in his skin. He could begin to feel his heart slowing down, when a surge of heat flashed throughout his body and his brain buzzed in pain. 'I don't want to die.' Adrenaline hit him like a brick, and he began to struggle again. But it was a vain attempt, the colors of the rainbow danced in his eyes once more, as thundering voice came from the end of the alley.

"NO NEED TO FEAR! WHY?!" The owner of the voice smiled, "BECAUSE I AM HERE"
All might shouted as he began to run towards the forest green bush.

Cocking his first back he yelled "Detroit Smash!" And the villainous sludge burst into bits. All Might quickly scooped up the pieces of goop and placed them into an empty bottle that was lying near the ground. For once, I thank pollution. Right when he was about to take off he heard a slight cough come from behind him, 'there's a kid back there.'

Running back to check on the kid, All Might couldn't help but scold himself. 'I can't believe I didn't check for any victims! What kind of hero am I? What will the press think? Maybe an autograph will cheer him up!'

Midoriya, on the other hand, was struggling to stand, still choking up some bits of sludge. 'What was happening inside my head? What happened in all? Who saved me?' His last bit of memory was closing his eyes after seeing a huge shadow, believing it was Death. There was a faint slap on his cheek, just a tiny tap, but gods it stung. Midoriya tried his best to worm away from human contact out of instinct. He peaked his eyes open to see a giant blond man crouching in front of him.

"Welcome back to the land of the living young one!"

Izuku's ears rung and his head hurt. "Please, lower it down a few decibels? I think you gave me a migraine."

The strong man in front of him seemed shocked. 'What's his deal?' Midoriya wondered.

All Might sat and stared at the young boy in front of him. Dots of black and blue shade covered his face and what seemed like fresh bandages poked out from under his clothes. Something dropped from his side, and it took a minute before All Might recognized it as blood. 'What had happened to this kid? The villain couldn't have done that much. Could it?' All Might lightly tapped his cheek but the victim had winced as if he had been slapped.
'His eyes are opening, think of something to say-' "Welcome back to the living young one!"

'Well played.'

A hiss came from the boy in the ground, "Please, lower it down a few decibels? I think you gave me a migraine." A reasonable answer to someone with their eyes half closed. But when they opened, All Might went numb.

They were red. Red like blood, red like the blood of all the people he couldn't save. That agonizing color. It seemed to fill his eyes and circle in an hypnotizing trance. People screaming their hearts out for help, images of those same people eventually giving up and quieting upon realizing he left them. Their broken expressions. The smell of decay. The haunting sound of his enemies laughter. The souls he couldn't save. The ground painted red. And faces. Faces, reminding him they were waiting. Reminding him that they were still there. But where did they come from? Somewhere in his mind, he knew.

'They come from the truth and fear you refuse to accept.' A voice said in a matter-of-fact tone.

All at once, his mind felt clear, and his stomach stopped turning. The boy blinked in that moment and his eyes returned green, or, at least, one did.

The left eye remained that unsettling red.

Thanks for reading! I know it's bad but hey, at least I tried. Please tell me and mistakes I may have made
