Midoriya was not present for class. Everybody brushed it off as a 'two course student thing'. Midoriya was absent for another day. It was brushed off again. On the third day people began to worry, and the support course hadn't seen him either.

Denki disappeared too. Then Sero. Then Momo.

After that, people stopped vanishing, but nobody understood why. The students who had gone missing had no connections to eachother.

"That's it." Aizawa said, he slammed his text book onto his desk, "We're going to go investigate the dorms. Hurry up." He walked briskly out of the room and the students rushed to follow him.

In the week of the disappearances, the dorms had remained unchecked, Aizawa found this to be stupid. One of the main things you do is search the person's room, message history, and recent activity.

"Search everywhere." Aizawa commanded, "Do not leave one piece of cloth un-searched."

He took Bakugo, Todoroki, and Shoji with him to search the missing student's rooms. When nothing checked up, Shoji gathered Shinso, Tokoyami, Ayoma, and Todoroki. He told Aizawa they would be searching Izuku's usual routes. He then secretly told the group that they would be checking the weed room and the cult room.

The group flinched when they heard Shoji tell them they were going to the cult room, Shoji's own voice dwindled more than it should have when he said it. Aizawa saw their flinches but didn't comment on it, if his students felt like they needed to do this on their own, then he would let them. They were very private students.

The group departed with weird looking bags slung over their shoulders. They walked into Nezu's office and straight into the vents.

Five minutes later, they dropped into the cult room. An Ouija board sat dust covered in the middle of the room.

"You guys know we're next, right?"

They all looked at Shinso, who was quivering.

"We did this, Izu was the one who touched it first, then Denki did, and then Sero, and Momo touched it after him."

Tokoyami started shaking, "If that's how it goes..... then Todoroki is next, then Shoji, me, you, and Ayoma."

They looked at Todoroki, who was staring at the Ouija board. "We have to end this."

Ayoma looked at Todoroki, his usual sparkle gone, "But how? How do we rid the dorm of this demon?"

"I-"

A burst of cold wind filled the room, at first they thought it was the ac unit, but when the nosie stopped and the air continued to get colder they began to worry. A long, eery scratching sound echoed through the room.

"Look!" Ayoma pointed to the wall besides Shoji, who was on the western side.

The wall was tearing, it looked like a sharp object was carving it. Slowly, some characters could be made out.

"What's it say?"

Shinso shrugged his shoulders at Ayoma's question, "I don't know, it's in English."

"I can read it." Tokoyami said. "I've kept up on my lessons." He walked forwards when the screeching stopped and shivered as a cold spot passed through him, he swore he felt a soft substance touch his neck. "Keep- practicing. Your next lesson- is soon."

He stumbled backwards as more cuts formed on the wall, "Yo-u, passed! Good job. Tell your- friends to keep-trying."

A ding sounded from each of their phones, Shoji looked at his and threw it to the ground in fear, "I deleted the app! How?!"

Todoroki looked at his phone and paled, "Duolingo here! Ready for y-your next lesson? Practice your Russian now!"

The room got quiet. The cold spot passed, but was particularity violent with Todoroki.

The two toned boy collapsed onto the ground shaking. He knew his fate, he regretted not taking the warning seriously.

"We'll find a way out of this! C'mon, we have the board, all we have to do is hope that somebody who's dealt with it before can help us!"

Tokoyami's speech gave them all a bit of hope and they all rushed to the board.

"Okay." Shoji said, setting his hand on the small triangle shaped object, he resumed speaking when everyone's hand was on top of his, "Spirits of the other side, we call upon you for your help, tell us how to defeat the Duolingo Owl."

The board was still for a moment before the wooden triangle started moving.

Tokoyami read the words aloud, he was the best at English, "Def-eat th-e o-w-l? A-re you c-r-a-z-y?" The board shook violently before another spirit spoke, "I-t i-s n-ot s-impl-e. You mu-st li-ste-n."

The board rattled and moved around the table as if trying to buck their hands off of it.

"R-u-n."
