In two days all questions for the q&a will be answered.
All Might refused to believe that Midoriya Izuku was not a threat, with a terrifying quirk like his, the neighborhood he's growing up in, and that friend of his, All Might was certain that Midoriya was on the road to villainy. Some part of him believed that the attack on the Iida household was somehow the young boy's doing. Not to mention the child he had now, who knows what sort of devilish tricks he would teach the young one? He became even more suspicious when he learned that Midoriya went to therapy, no normal person goes to a therapist, his brain must be messed up. But after Aizawa had claimed the boy and his friend as his students All Might couldn't do anything. Unless, All Might thought to himself as he sank into bed, he becomes my student as well. He got no sleep that night, he was to busy planning for the next days to come.
--------------------------
His plan would've worked if Aizawa hadn't told Midoriya and Bakugo about All MIght's superstitions.
He had done it the first day of training after the incident, right before they began their daily run. Needless to say Midoriya was pissed, but not as much as Bakugo.
"What kind of a-jerk does that? The next time I see that fudge cake I'm gonna beat his stupid face in." Bakugo growled out as they turned the corner, censoring his language as Eri clung to his back.
"It's to be expected, Kacchan."
Aizawa and Bakugo turned their heads sharply towards Izuku, "What's that supposed to mean, Midoriya?"
Izuku absently looked upwards, "I've met All Might before, when I was both quirkless and when my quirk awakened, which were at the same time."
"Hold up," Bakugo stuck his hand out to stop Midoriya in his tracks, Eri slowly sliding off of his back, "What's the full story here?" Aizawa slowed to a stop and faced Midoriya as well.
"Well.... it was the day of the slime villain attack, last day of school....um.... I was blacking out..... then All Might blew the villain away, I asked him if I could be a hero even if I was quirkless....he said no..... I walked away with my hopes shattered... I saw Kacchan being attacked by the villain...then I....I...." Izuku's face revealed that he was far away in thought, his face scrunching as he tried to recall what happened next, "I.... sang? Yeah, I sang a song, it got really cold, everyone looked scared.....I think it went along the lines of 'three blind mice'? I don't remember much after that except for panicking and running away."
Aizawa glanced from Midoriya to Bakugo, who obviously knew what had happened.
"Izuku, you scared the crap out of everyone with that song, you started speaking about how 'everything was wrong with you', you explained my quirk to the villain, Izuku he's probably in prison right now."
"Language!" Midoriya looked at Aizawa, "Is that really what happened?"
Aizaww shrugged, "I wasn't there, I was busy in Hosu. But if it helps I do know that the villain you're talking about is in solitary confinement."
"Oh....."
Aizawa sensed the guilt behind Midoriya's words and quickly decided to change the subject, "You said the song had the lyrics 'Three blind mice'?"
Midoriya gave him a confused look, "Yeah, why?"
Aizawa pulled out his phone, "Because if something like that did happen, then someone must have caught it on video."
He was right, the press and crowd that had gathered that day uploaded tons of videos of Izuku singing his song, it was a surprise that nobody recognized him on the streets. Izuku watched in a mix of horror and fascination as he sang his song and swung from side to side.
"Three blind mice. Three blind mice.
See how they run. See how they run.
They all ran after the farmer's wife,
Who cut their tails of with a carver's knife. Did you ever seen such a sight in your life,
As three blind mice?"There was silence before Eri smiled, "I like that song!"
Midoriya looked down at her, "What was that, sweetie?"
Eri hummed, "I really like that song, momma! Do you think you can sing it again? Are there any like it? What's it called?" Her voice was filled with wonder as she rambled on.
Midoriya smiled, his mind was taken off of the video and focused on the small child in front of him who was asking question after question, "It's called a nursery rhyme, there are hundreds out there. This one is called 'Three blind mice.'"
"Really? There are more? Can you sing one right now momma, please?"
Midoriya flushed red, "I don't know, I don't think the others would want to hear me sing."
Eri swung her head towards Bakugo, "Tell momma you wanna hear him sing, pappa! You too, grandpa!"
"It would be nice to hear him sing," Bakugo smirked.
Aizawa nodded along, "Let's see what you've got, kid." He clicked the record button on his phone and put lowered it below his hips, Hizashi might be able to give the kid singing lessons.
"O-okay then, any requests?"
"What's your favorite, pappa?"
Bakugo smiled, "I had my mom sing 'London Bridge' to me all the time." It was a small lie, but it was worth it, London Bridge is a very long song.
Izuku knew this, but after seeing Eri's excited face he couldn't say no, "Alrighty then, London Bridge it is. Ehhem." Izuku cleared his throat and closed his eyes as he tried to recall the song.
"London Bridge is falling down.
Falling down, falling down.
London Bridge is falling down.
My fair lady."He opened his eyes and looked at Eri, who was gasping in awe.
"Build it up with iron bars.
Iron bars, iron bars.
Build it up with iron bars.
My fair lady."Iron bars will bend and break.
Bend and break, bend and break.
Iron bars will bend and break.
My fair lady."Build it up with gold and silver.
Gold and silver, gold and silver.
Build it up with gold and silver.
My fair lady."London Bridge is falling down.
Falling down, falling down.
London Bridge is falling down.
M-y f-a-i-r l-a-d-y."Eri giggled and clapped her hands, "Thank you! You have a really pretty voice, momma!" Bakugo sat stunned and numbly nodded along with Eri's words, the only times he had heard Izuku sing were in mandatory choir classes, where he was always silenced, the show, where he could barely focus on Izuku's tone, and the two times he sang to villains, both of those times were to cold of Bakugo to really hear Izuku's voice. Aizawa was proud, the kid had skills, he sent the video to Hizashi, he would definitely want to meet them. "Can you sing to, pappa?"
Bakugo snapped out of his gaze and smirked fiercely, "Of course I can! I was in the show, wasn't I? I sung with your momma."
"Really?!" They would have to show her the recording of the show, that is, if they hadn't all been destroyed.
"Really."
Aizawa clapped his hands loudly, "We're losing time, let's get moving again." They had all been successfully distracted by the songs and the topic had strayed from All Might, all as Aizawa intended to do. Eri clambered back onto Bakugo's back and laughed loudly whenever Bakugo had to jump over something. The topic of All Might would be brought back up later, Aizawa decided, but for now it was best to focus on the good aspects of their situation.
Eri turned her head, she felt something watching them, but all she saw was a very skinny old man leaning on the brick wall next to the grocery store on his phone, maybe it was just her imagination.
