Chapter 8  :  Troubles always follows

~Lucas

"And we got to touch a real bunny , it's  was soooo cute" Pamela says , skipping towards the car.

"Sounds like you had a blast at school"

"Didn't you ?" She stops skipping 

"Meh" I open the back seat door and Pamela jumps in with her small yellow backpack on her back. I open the driver door and get in, as soon as I sit down I turn on the engine and begin to drive away.

"Today was so awesome!" She furiously swing her legs back and forth. I watch her through the rearview mirror and I softly chuckle.

"Are you wearing your seatbelt ?"

"Oops  my bad , sorry"  She reaches to get her seatbelt and clicks the two belts together.

Pamela notices that there's someone else is in the car "Hi I'm Pamela , what's your name"

"I'm Sandra , it's nice to  meet you" She smiles at her.

"Do you wanna hear about what happened  to me at school ?" Pamela asks

"Um it's better then being quiet so yeah" Sandra answers. They start having a  conversation  while I'm driving.

I drive to my right  as the traffic light turns green and using  my one hand I adjust the rearview mirror but the mirror spots a black car driving behind me.

A very familiar black Land Rover. I turn left  on  a four way road and I look at the mirror to see the Land Rover also turns left and drives behind him

They are freaking following me

I turn to a quiet street and  parallel  park next to a dry cleaners and look behind to see the car is parked behind me.

"What are we doing here ?" Pamela asks

"Um...I just have to take care of something quickly , but we'll be home soon" I look at the rearview mirror again, the car is still there. I lean close to Sandra and whisper "Distract Pamela , don't make her look back"

Her eyebrows draw together in confusion , she slowly looks back and sees the black Land Rover for a short amount of time until she averts her attention at me "Er...okay."

I get out of the car  and gently close the door. I wear my hoodie  and walk to the car with tainted windows ,  when I reach the car  I knock on the window until it starts sliding down revealing  two morons

Douglas and Aaron

"Whoa Lucas be gentle this car is-"

"Why are you two following  me !?"

"Oh look Douglas we made him mad" Aaron laughs while hitting the steering wheel.

My jaw clench "Again , why are you following me !?"

"Boss's orders" Douglas answers "The man is still waiting on his package"

"I'm still  trying to  get it  would he relax"

Aaron chuckles "Lucas , you out of all of  us know how impatient  Zayn is"

"The imbecile  freaking called me yesterday about this"

"Hey hey respect your boss" Douglas says like an elder

This time I laugh "Respect  is a two way road so if he doesn't respect me why the hell should I respect him"
