Chapter 20 : Sight

It has been two days since Lucas and I have been declared friends and since that day, I don't know what's been happening to me when he's around me. His presence is enough to make me feel happy and anxious at the same time like I feel flutters in my stomach and nowadays he's been so considerate about my health.  I mean every time I say 'Ow' he would ask me if I was okay, also check if anything hurt.

Even when I was stitching his arm, every thing about him memorized me, from the way he was in pain, but not even yelling or crying once.

He's so strong and cute...

"Sandra"

Embarrassed at my though I blush, "Huh ?"

"Nothing, I was checking if you're okay, you've been staring at the dashboard not really doing anything." He says, his words making me feel warm inside

"Oh I'm just thinking"

"Okay well we're here at Belleville so get your girly things ready" He turns to the left where the building begin  to appear.

"Are we going to stop by the gym to use the shower ?"

"No I know someone who owns a B&B, I have many connections here" He says almost confidently.

I smile, "So the person will be fine with us using their showers"

"Yeah, we're pretty close plus we are almost there" He says passing the building at lightening speed and I should be worried, but I trust him.

"So how's Belleville like ?"

"It has a lot of sights that tourist seem to like-"

"Can we see them !?" I ask excited earning a weird look from Lucas then I remember what he said making me frown, "Oh right we have limited time"

"Er... I guess we could use a bit of a breather after everything" He drives in a parking which belongs to the B&B behind us.

"Are you sure, I mean what about your dad's safety ?"

He parks the car before switching off the ignition and sighs, "Don't worry about that, he's safe I made sure of it"

"So that's a yes ?"

He shrugs, "Yeah sure"

I grin, I couldn't contain myself I had to hug him so I did, but I ended up hurting his arm. "I'm so sorry"

He groans, "We should really have a no hugging policy"

"I'm sorry"

He shake his head,  "Nah it's fine, pain never lasts anyways"   he opens the door ,grabbing his backpack. I also grab my stuff to get out of the car.

"How do you know the owner ?"

"When I joined the gang, he kinda looked after me, showed me the ropes before he ran away from the Phantomz, changed his identity and now he owns a B&B." He says as we're walking to the door a  concrete building. It has a beautiful garden surrounded  by green grass and a water fountain in the center. He open the door letting me in first and closes behind him. The reception was decorated white crisp tiles with marble table dispersed in the room with pink roses in vases on top.

"Wow he really cleaned this place" He mumbles to himself and leaves me wondering how the place looked like before.

"Hey Carter !", He shouts, his voice echoing through the room grabing the attention of a guy in a blue polo shirt tucked neatly under his jean with red Jordan 1.
