Chapter 9

Shane's POV
My alarm went off. Ugh I am so tired but school awaits and so does Ryland.

"Ryland" I yawned trying to wake him up

"No, I'm too tired" he groaned

"Come on it's only 7 hours" I said,

"Yeah and I could spend those 7 hours sleeping but I want to make it through school so I'll go" he said getting up, I love morning Ryland. He's so cute

" you know your cute when your tired" I said

"Now am I?" He says

"Yes you are" I replied

"Do you know what happened with Dylan?" He asked

"Yeah, he is going to get 3 detentions and I'm getting 1" I said

"That's not fair that you got a detention" he responded

" I know now get ready" I kissed his cheek. Ryland and I got ready for school. Then we got in the car

"So what are we?" Ryland asked.

"What do you want us to be?" I questioned back

"I want you to be my boyfriend" he whispered

"You really want to date me?" I say, he nods his head

"Ok then it's official" I said

"Is it okay that's we don't tell anyone yet. I don't want to expose our relationship yet" he asks

" as long as I'm with you I'm fine" I replied

We make it to school, first hour was difficult because of Dylan. He didn't come up to us but he kept giving Ryland a stare and I didn't like it.

2nd and 3rd hour went by fast mostly because Ryland and I were just making very bad jokes.
After 3rd hour we had to say goodbyes until 5th hour. We didn't have 4th hour together.

Ryland's POV

I walk into gym and I see Garrett and drew but I also see Dylan. Ugh that mother fucker, I can't get way from him. Gym goes pretty good. We were mostly doing laps around the field.

"Hey can I go get some water?" I asked,

When I was walking back a girl with blond hair called me over. She told me to follow her so I did, that was probably the second worst decision I made in my life. First being that I dated Dylan. None other than Dylan around the corner but before I knew it everything went black.

Shane's POV

I got really nervous during class. Who knows what could be happening with Ryland right now. Shut up Shane he's probably fine. My thoughts got interrupted when the teacher got a call.

"Yeah I'll have him sent down right now" she said, oh no please say nothing happened to Ryland.

"Shane, they need you in the office" she told me, I don't think I ever ran that fast in my life.

"Umm I was told to come here" I said

"Oh yes, do you know who Ryland Adams is?" One of the ladies in office ask.

"Yes" I replied

"Well he is badly injured" she told me,

"What should I do" I asked

"Go to the doctors most likely the hospital. It looks bad" she said. Ryland was unconscious in a wheel chair. I tired to put him in the car comfortably. I drove to the hospital as fast as I could without getting a ticket.

"Um I was told to come to the hospital by the school. Here's a note" the lady at the desk grabbed the note and read it. She told Ryland somewhere and I was told to wait in the waiting room. I was so nervous.

[ New message from Garrett ]

[Garrett] is ryland okay?

[Shane] I don't think so I brung him to the hospital

[Garrett] the hospital?!

[Shane] yeah wait hold on someone came out.

"Is there a Shane Yaw here?" He said

" right here" I said raising my hand, awkwardly

"It's bad but he's not going to die. He has two broken ribs, his body is mostly bruised. You can barely see his skin. The only thing we can do right now is kept him here and let him heal. You can bring him his homework and anything else that he wants. He will probably be let out in two days but I would advise for him to stay home until he can breathe better" he said

"What can I do right now" I ask

" it looks like he won't be waking up until the next few hours" he replied

"Ok" I said, I drove back to school.

4th hour was pretty much over and lunch was beginning.

"Hey, how's Ryland" Garrett asked

"Well he has two broken ribs. A very bruised body to the point where you can see his skin. He has little gashes on his face" I whispered.

"Oh my god" Garrett almost screamed

"And you know who it probably was"

"Dylan" Andrew announces

"How?" I was almost certain that I didn't tell Andrew anything.

" I may have told Andrew a few things" Garrett said

"Garrett" I said disappointed ( I bet you read that in Shane's voice)

"What?" He said smiling

A/N heyo people it's currently 1:16 am and I don't know why I'm up so late but who cares right. Probably my parents, anyways this chapter came from a dream I had except my dream was with my friends and not Shane and Ryland. Sorry for this fucked up chapter. Bye ♡
