Kokichi's Despair Disease - Part 2

   It was only getting worse.

  A few days had gone by and Kokichi couldn't do anything. Even his actions spoke the truth, weather it be nuzzling against Shuichi or subconsciously reaching for the taller's hand. Kokichi didn't like that he couldn't lie and hide his emotions. Since the Ultimate Supreme Leader never left his name, in fear of running into the other students, Shuichi often brought food to the liar's room. 

  A knock on the door brought the shorter out of his thoughts, "Shuichi?" Kokichi called as he walked unsteady towards the door. 

  "Uh no, it's Tsumugi. I came to tell you-" The Ultimate Cosplayer was interrupted by Monkuma on the monitor. 

  "A body has been discovered! Please gather in the Ultimate Artist's Lab!" The monitor flicked off as Kokichi opened the door.

  "Ah well, I guess Monokuma beat me too it." Tsumugi smiled uneasily, "Why don't you come out-?"

  "Why would I want to help with the investigation? I already know who did it, or do I?" Kokichi snickered, closing the door on the girl. 

  A murder had happened, he could lie again.

  After a few hours, Shuichi opened the door. Kokichi had given him his dorm key since the shorter wasn't going to be leaving until a murder happened. The detective handed the key back to Kokichi as he sat on the bed. 

  "Hey, how are you feeling"? Shuichi asked, Kokichi leaned against the navy head. 

  "I'm about to die!" Kokichi wailed, then instantly stopped, "Just kidding~ I feel a lot better now. Maybe it's because you're here."

  Shuichi rolled her eyes, "The trail's about to start, the others are going to ask where you were, you know."

  "Yeah, can we just say we were with each other? I don't want the others to know we spent the night here..."

  "Are you nervous?" Shuichi asked slyly, leaning his face closer to Kokichi's.

  "Maaabye~" Kokichi snickered softly.

  Shuichi smiled, kissing the other's forehead. The shorter teased.

  "Oh, sorry..." Shuichi pulled away, hiding his face from the leader. 

  Kokichi smiled and hugged the taller tighter, burying his face in his chest. Awkwardly, Shuichi hugged the other back. The two stayed like that for  several minutes. 

  "Shuchi?"

  "Yes?" Shuichi murmured softly.

  "Can I tell you a secret?"

  "Go ahead."

  "I love you."
