Maki was normally the more stoic and collected one of Maki and Kirumi's relationship. It as slightly annoying to the blonde maid. Though, on one night in particular, Maki finally allowed her walls to go down slightly. The pair were sleeping in Kirumi's dorm, spooning each other when Kirumi was woken by a soft sound. Maki tightened her grip on the maid's shirt as if she thought she would disappear at any moment.
"What's wrong?" Kirumi remembers asking but she didn't get a reply. Instead the assassin hugged the ultimate tighter. Kirumi couldn't help but smile at how soft the brunette was being. The blonde wrapped her arms around the shorter, stroking her hair with one hand.
"Don't worry, Maki. It's okay~" Kirumi cooed in her ear, pressing a kiss to her temple. Maki relaxed somewhat, her ruby eyes opening.
"Kirumi?"
"Yes?"
The red themed girl leaned up to kiss the maid, resting her head under the taller's chin. The assassin was trembling slightly as if she had just witnessed something terrible. Kirumi wanted to know what had scared her girlfriend so terribly but she didn't want to make her even more shaken.
"Love you..." Maki murmured softly.
"Love you more."
"Unlikely, Kirumi."
